“Before I tell you all what my plan is, I’d like to know how you managed to find Eldric and Draso you two,” I said and looked at Azith and Drakar.

“We got bored waiting for you to get back so we both decided to explore the castle by ourselves,” Azith said.

“Yeah, we got bored and stumbled into the court yard with the guardians of the others were and saw them talking to Eldric and Draso and soon saw your phoenix open up a portal. We wanted to tag along in hopes of finding you and joining up with you,” Drakar said.

I shook my head at that as those two could’ve gotten hurt if Eldric and Draso weren’t with them, possibly even worse. I guess I could count my blessings that Sam didn’t go with them. That would’ve caused big trouble with my chances of getting Charna and Krishna to come with me.

“Wait a minute, how did your friend here get here,” Sam said and pointed to him.

“Oh, he gave me a special medallion to keep in contact with me about seven years ago mate. I’m one of the few blokes that knew about the existence of dragons before he revealed himself along with all the other dragons,” he said smiling.

“Wait, so who else knew about dragons before they were revealed?” Thunder said.

“Oh, a couple family doctors, my one cousin that Sam here met at the one airsoft competition, and of course my closest friend,” I said.

“And who would your closest friend be,” Drake asked curiously.

“Well, you all remember meeting Michael earlier today,” I said and looked at them.

“Wasn’t he that orange and red dragon in armor that came to meet us,” Farm asked.

“Yes, he’s my best friend, he knew about dragons when we were kids,” I said.

“But he is a dragon,” Gryph said.

“He wasn’t always a dragon, he was a human at one time until Jeff had to turn him into a dragon when we were 8 years old,” Jessie said.

“So why did you turn him into a dragon,” DM said curiously.

“It was because of me, the stupid fool stepped in the way of a wild kremin that I used to try to kill my brother,” Krishna said with a low growl.

I frowned as everybody looked at Krishna wide eyed as Charna looked at him as well. She likely knew about it as she and Karayan were the ones that freed him from the isolation mountain. I got up and walked over to Krishna and before he or any of the others could say something, I clenched my fist and hit him right in the jaw. Everybody went wide eyed at what I did, especially Charna and the ferals, as Krishna went flying a bit in the direction I threw my punch as blood came out of his nostrils and mouth as a tooth fell on the ground. I had hit him just hard enough to knock a tooth out of his muzzle, but not hard enough to break his jaw as he spit out some blood and looked up at me. I was glaring down at him with anger in my eyes as he gulped some.

“Don’t you ever call Michael stupid or a fool ever again Jason, if you do, I’ll make sure to drag your sorry carcass back to Dragonia after beating the living daylights out of you so Michael could have a shot at you. Than I’m going to leave you alone with my two pet kremins for a little while for what you and your hierarchy clan did to them. After that, I’ll drag you to the throne room and let grandma and grandpa deal with you for everything you done over the years. Now get your sorry carcass ready, cause when we take those spot lights out over there, you, Jessie, and I are going to go up into the sky to create a storm,” I said to him.

“Now listen here you runt, we’re only…” Charna began to say but stopped suddenly when I glared at her.

She backed up as she saw the hatred and anger in my eyes along with catching a glimpse of Malvor in my eyes as well. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath as I calmed down and regained control of my emotions.  I walked back over to the others as I heard Krishna get back up and growl a bit at me as he was definitely angry. I looked back over at the fortified castle and started to think of how we should go along with getting those spot lights out if I was planning on creating a storm. The idea came to me soon as I walked over to Alex smiling.

“Hey Alex, you still good with shooting an arrow over a long distance,” I asked him.

“Yeah I am mate, just tell me where to aim and I’ll shoot,” he said with a grin.

I smiled and motioned him to follow me as we walked over to the ledge. I pointed out the spot lights as he looked at them. I watched as I knew the wheels in his head were turning as he was calculating the exact angle we would have to aim the bow and arrows. He walked back to his large bag and pulled out four specially made bows and some arrows I helped him design myself as Jessie, Paul, and I followed him. We each took a bow and one arrow as the three of us were very good at firing bow and arrows in Dragonia and I helped trained Alex as well. We all walked back to the ledge and took aim as we followed his lead as he aimed his bow at about a 60 degree angle. We did the same and fired the arrows into the air and watched them fly through the air. With a loud crash and four loud flashes of lights and sparks, our arrows had hit our targets and the spot lights went out. I quickly put the bow I was holding down as Jessie did the same as the sirens in the castle started to go off as I looked at her and Krishna and nodded. I could tell Krishna didn’t want to do it at all as he quickly shifted to his anthro form.

All three of us spread our wings quickly and took off as Alex was busy getting his sniper gun out and all ready. Charna already knew what to do as she and her hierarchy dragons that came with us would most likely be a distraction and start fighting with the dragon slayers after we did our part. Without the spot lights operating, we would have perfect cover to get up into the sky and in what clouds were there and start to manipulate the temperature there and create lightning. Since Jessie is part lightning dragon and Krishna can create shadow lightning, it would be easy to create a massive thunder storm and I’m able to create my own version of lightning. We got up into a cloud quickly as it was big enough to hide the three of us as anthros as I started to let the temperature around us rise some. I had to breathe some ice around to create more moisture as the ice quickly started to melt and evaporate into moisture. Jessie and Krishna started to let out bolts of lightning and shadow lightning as the cloud started to darken and grow in size as more and more clouds started to merge with ours to create a storm system. Lightning started to light up the sky as the storm system started to grow outward as the air around the three of us started to spin some from my temperature ability as I was rising and lowering the temperature all around us.

I concentrated as the air around my fists started to become an ice mist as sparks started to form. I looked down at them and grinned as I was creating frost lightning as I let out streaks of it throughout the clouds to help strengthen it. The clouds started to spin more around us as the clouds under us started to part as we were creating an eye of the storm. The clouds were very dark and the storm system would undoubtedly get picked up by storm watchers all over Alaska and in Canada. I looked down at the castle as I could see people running around in a panic as lightning was striking all over the place around the area where there were lightning polls. I tapped my one medallion as it glowed as more wind started up as snow and sleet was also falling down as a tornado started to form. It went straight down towards the center of the court yard as I looked at Krishna and Jessie as Jessie was wearing a purple trench coat as Krishna was in his scales.

“Okay, when we go down there, we’ll be shifting into our human forms,” I said.

“Why do we have to go to those pathetic forms, we’re stronger and quicker in these forms,” Krishna said with a growl.

“We’re also bigger targets as well Krishna, we’re just as fast in our human forms, plus dear old grandma Charna and your hierarchy dragons will be providing us with cover, along with Alex and my friends,” I said as I quickly opened a portal and pulled out a black trench coat and tossing it at him.

He grumbled putting it on as black clothes appeared on him as all three of us folded our wings in and descended. We opened them at the last second and landed on the ground kneeling down as we shifted into our human forms as the clouds and tornado disappeared along with the rest of the bad weather. We slowly stood up as I took out my two katanas as Jessie took hers out as Krishna made his black katana appear from his black medallion he was wearing. All of the dragon slayers and knights that were there quickly stopped and looking at us as I looked around. We were indeed in the center of the court yard as there were training dummies as well as armored trucks around. The place looked to be more fortified than Fort Knox as there were stairs going up to the top parts of the wall just like in an old time castle as it seemed they had spot lights as well as other weapons besides swords and knives.

It wasn’t going to be easy getting through all of them and into the building as the door looked to be reinforced steel. The one thing they didn’t know was that we had back up with us as the knights were starting to get their swords out and surround us. Before they could even attack us, a loud roar was heard from where we were positioned when we got here as I looked up. I grinned as that was Charna’s signal for leading an attack on the castle. I could tell that Krishna was getting a rush as well as we started to see fireballs rain down onto the court yard and explode some as it started to send the knights into a frenzy. This was the perfect chance to get inside the building as I sheathed my sword and started to make my way to the front door. Jessie and Krishna were following me as it was mayhem all around us as the fireballs stopped raining down on us as a few knights tried to stop us. I dodged their attacks and laid a kick into the stomach of one of the knights as I sent him flying into a pile of hay as he groaned some. As we were fighting the knights, we heard something land behind us and I quickly turned around.

I couldn’t be happier as I saw Eldric and Draso standing there along with Arcticus and Malvor. Eldric had his sword drawn as his bow was strapped to his back along with his quiver of arrows. He quickly nodded at us to get going as he soon blocked a sword attack on him and kicked the knight in the stomach and sent him stumbling backwards. I could tell that Draso was going to enjoy this as he hasn’t had a good sparing match with anybody in a good long time. Jessie, Krishna, and I made our way to the door again as we saw Charna and her hierarchy dragons fly over and breathing fire in different parts of the court yard that was all around the castle. I didn’t know if they had killed anybody yet or not but I was glad that they were here to help with a diversion. When we got to the door, we started to hear the knights getting their weapons ready along with their guns and rifles. That wouldn’t be good as I looked at Jessie and Krishna and nodded. We turned around as I started to lower the temperature around me at a fast pace as sparks started to spark from me as shadow started to form around Krishna. Black lighting started to spark from him as regular lightning started to spark from Jessie.

“Eldric, Draso, Arcticus, Malvor, find cover quickly,” I shouted at them as they were busy fighting some knights.

That caught their attention as well as the attention of most of the knights as the three of us let out a shock wave of electricity. I saw Eldric and the others quickly find cover as the shock wave hit the guns and rifles along with all of the ammunition as bullets started going off in every direction as knights started to run for cover as their weapons and vehicles started to spark. Smoke started to fill the area as I quickly turned around and walked up to the door. It looked like it was thick and heavy and very well reinforced. I put my ear to it and tapped it as it sounded like it was a good 6 inches thick. It was going to be a bit of a problem, but not that much as I stood up fully and placed my hand on it. I concentrated as the area around my hand started to heat up and soon glow red. The heat started to spread throughout the door as it was all glowing red hot as heat was coming off of it like we were in a kiln. Krishna and Jessie had to move back as I was the only one able to withstand the heat at this close a range. Before too long the door was glowing white and started to deform as liquid metal was forming underneath it. I sent one final burst of heat into the molten door as it instantly turned into liquid metal and created a small wave when it exploded as I created a quick ice ball around the three of us. The ice protected us from any flying liquid as it melted quickly and cooled what metal was around us still in an instant. The steam cleared up as we saw the corridor in front of us as we still heard roaring from the feral dragons up ahead and shouting from the knights in the court yard.

I was about to make my way in when an arrow shot past us and imbedded itself in some cooling molten metal as I stopped. I had forgotten about them having bow and arrows and possible weapons that fired arrows as well. I quickly rushed into the strong hold with Krishna and Jessie right behind me as we all knew it would take us a while to find Rachael, Ealdeth, and little Elexia. If there are any other dragons being held captive here, we’d have to rescue them as well. I just hoped that there wouldn’t be any casualties while on this mission. As we were making our way down a corridor, we came to a four way stop and looked down each hallway. We would have to split up in order to cover the entire place in order to find them. Looking together would take too long, but splitting up would be very risky, but also faster. I looked at Jessie and Krishna and nodded as Jessie took the hall on the right while Krishna went left. I knew we had to be on our guard at all times as there could be more knights hiding in here and the building itself could be bigger than we thought it was from the outside.

I started to walk slowly down the middle corridor as the lights were still on and flickering some as there were security cameras focused on me. The electrical components were most likely shielded from our little electrical outpour in the courtyard and that was a bit good so we wouldn’t be walking in complete darkness. It wouldn’t be difficult since we’re dragons and could see well in the dark, but having to fight in the dark would be hard, especially in a narrow space like a corridor. I was hoping to have a run in with Sir Darwin and give him a good beating for messing with my family. Not even he would stand a good chance against me at full strength, but for now, he would have to wait. I still need to find Rachael, Elexia, and Ealdeth, along with any other dragons or mythical creatures that are being held captive here. I had to stop where I was for a second to get my bearings as I closed my eyes to try to sense if any other feral dragons were here. I could sense all the hierarchy that was outside fighting the knights. I had to concentrate a bit as I could sense other dragons inside the complex as it seemed to be below me. I growled a bit and opened up my eyes as I started to walk down the corridor again as I sensed that there was another gryphon around as well, and close by.

I knew that gryph was with the others and they may have been helping out with the fighting, but the other gryphon that I sensed has to be Shadow. He must’ve somehow followed us from Dragonia through the portal. The only possible reason I could think of is that he must’ve mastered turning into shadow somehow like in the chat rooms when we always talked together. That was a real low blow on using his ability to get back to earth. I would need to have a word with him after this is over if I’m able to find him again after all of this. I got to a corner as I slowly stopped and went up against the wall. I could hear talking coming from around the corner as I counted about 4 to 5 voices. That means that there were about 5 people around the corners if not more. I listened to what they were saying hoping that they were nearby where the others were being held.

“I still can’t believe that we’re stuck in here while all the others are out there fighting those beasts,” one guy said.

“I know, but we’ve been told to keep an eye out for the three intruders that managed to get inside the building,” another one said.

“Did you hear what they did? I heard that they came out of the clouds and generated enough electricity to light up possibly a whole city, and one of them melted the front door off completely,” a third one said.

“All rumors probably. They most likely have some high tech that allowed them to do it. Can you even think that there are dragons out there that can shift into humans,” a fourth guy said.

“Heck, probably just holographic tech again, or some kind of magic that cloaks them to make them look human. Dragons and humans can’t have children, it’s just not possible. Their DNA makeup won’t be able to merge and create a hybrid like with the animal kingdom. It’s completely impossible for a beast and a human to be able to have offspring. Even if it was possible, the offspring would be freaks of nature and should be put out of their misery,” the fifth knight said.

“Heck, our glorious leader would probably have your head for that. He’d most likely want to study them first before killing them and see how he can extend his life,” the first knight said.

“Is that why we have all those beasts locked up down below in the test lab,” the second knight asked.

“Yeah it is, and I heard they captured a couple more dragons earlier today, one of them being the mates to the high prince of dragons from what I heard,” the fourth knight said.

“But why did they have to bring that little girl with them as well? We can’t go around killing little children, it’s against our code,” the third knight.

“I know, but his son said that we’re using her as leverage, she’s somehow related to these dragons. Hopefully the little brat won’t be causing us much problems. The one red dragon did and gave a pretty good fight, he wounded a bunch of our men along with the one dragoness. She looked like she was trained to fight, Nigel had to come in and knock her out along with the red dragon,” the fifth knight said.

I clenched my fists tightly as I could hardly contain myself from growling angrily. These five knights were definitely going to pay for harming my family and any other dragons that were captured by them. I slowly walked around the corner and saw the five knights chatting still as I gave a quick whistle. They stopped talking immediately and looked in my direction as I was just standing there. I wasn’t intimidated by them at all as I was able to connect with their eyes immediately. I don’t like using my one ability at all but right now I was so full of anger that it didn’t matter to me. Instead of manipulating their emotions, I let them see mine for a change as they could see the rage and anger burning up inside of me like I was literally on fire. I started to see the fear in them swell up as they backed up and ran off in fear. I closed my eyes and looked down as I started to calm myself. It was hard because of what they said about Rachael and Elexia. I started to slowly walk again as I could sense feral dragons up ahead as I knew I was getting close to the holding area. I kept walking as I got closer to the holding area, I heard shouting coming from behind me.

I stopped where I was and turned around to see more knights running up behind me with nets and swords. They were going to be in for a world of hurt since they don’t know who I really am if they weren’t given the right information. They stopped running a few yards in front of me and took their positions to try to stop me. I grabbed the hilt of one of my katanas and pulled it out slowly. They stood ready as I swung it a bit and held it out to my side expecting them to start the attack. I started to slowly walk towards them as my sword was sliding across the floor as an ice mist was forming around it. A small thin layer of ice was also forming behind the sword as well as I was lowering the temperature around it to a temperature equal to that of liquid nitrogen. If they weren’t wearing their helmets and the covers over their faces, I would be able to see the expressions on their faces. The only thing I could see were their eyes and I could barely see any fear in them. They looked to be specially trained knights for difficult cases on dragon capture. The markings on their armor looked to be that of elite status, which is pretty high up in any type of military fraction. I smirked as I would give them the hardest time of their lives. I stopped when I got as close as possible as I counted how many there were as there were about 9 knights there.

I stood there waiting for them to make a move as I twitched my one hand as the two knights holding the nets quickly tossed them at me. I quickly moved to the side and used my katana to catch one net and spun around twirling my sword. I flung the net back at them as the second net fell on me as I growled a little bit. Before I could do anything, surges of electricity started to go through me as my body stiffened. I was still able to feel pain as it didn’t bother me that much but with surges of electricity going through my body it wasn’t easy to maintain control of it. I growled and concentrated some as I was able to overcome the discharges of electricity as I let go of my sword and grabbed onto the net itself. I pulled as hard as I could as I felt the metal strings go taught as I soon heard them snap. I tossed the shredded net to the floor as I picked my sword back up and looked at the knights. They had gotten the net I had tossed back at them off of them as I put my katana away and drew out one of my doubled edged swords. I got into a fighting stance as they looked at me and stepped back.

“If you fools are done acting like the three stooges, let’s get this over with,” I said.

“You sir are talking the top elite of all knights and dragon slayers, you should be scared,” the leader of the group said as he had black markings on his armor as the rest had red markings on theirs.

“Oh I’m shaking in my boots, I’m sure Sir Nigel and his dad have great respect for the likes of you guys,” I said.

“You were lucky to have gotten this far, you won’t get much further interloper,” one of the knights said.

“It wasn’t luck, it’s skill, and you’ll have a hard time defeating me,” I said and motioned them to come at me.

They started to charge at me as I stayed in my position as I started to block and parry their sword attacks at me as I was moving quickly. Their movements started to get slow to me as I felt like I was in the Matrix movie again as I felt like I was Neo. I moved out of the way of an attack as it went right past me as I put a hand on the shoulder of the knight and pushed him. He stumbled and lost his balance as he collided with another knight as both went into the wall with a small groan. They slid down onto the floor as they had gotten the air knocked out of them. I immediately raised my sword and blocked an incoming sword as my arm shook a bit from the collision. These guys were definitely well trained and in good condition. It usually took a bit to make me drop my sword, let alone to make my arm shake. I quickly kicked the one knight to push him away from me as I quickly moved backwards to regain my stance. This was going to be tougher than I thought with dealing with them. I already took down two knights, but having to deal with seven more knights would prove to be a bit of a challenge.

I smiled a bit as it’s been a while since I had a good challenge as I motioned them to attack me. They seemed to stand their ground as the head knight started to give out orders. They all got into a different position as I watched them closely. They were going to do a patterned attack against me and that would be very tricky to block them with just one sword. I managed to put my sword away before two knights charged at me and started to attack me. I managed to dodge them to a point as one blade was able to make contact some as I growled a bit. It was just a cut but they were able to get me as I started to bleed a bit along with my coat being cut as well. I had to do something quickly as they were still attacking me as I pulled out a kunai and blocked an attack real quick. I slammed a fist into the stomach of one of the knights attacking me as I sent him back some as there was a small dent in his armor. I shook my hand a bit before dodging the second knight. I quickly ducked as he was still attacking and did a sweeping kick to trip him up. He didn’t see it coming as he landed on his back with a clang as I heard him groan. I put the kunai away and quickly pulled out my two katanas out as the rest of the knights started to attack me at the same time.

I was able to more a lot easier as I started to block and parry each attack quicker than before. I’m excellent with swords, but using katanas was what I excelled at best. They didn’t know what to do as I continued to block them with getting a couple of cuts from some lucky blows they were able to deliver as I was able to make a few scratches on their armor. The captain was in the back watching as I couldn’t take anymore as I started to use my temperature ability on my two swords. One started to heat up as steam was coming off of it as the other one started to get enveloped in an ice mist again. I started to do a counter attack on them as my swords met with theirs. They started to drop their swords one at a time from either their swords becoming red hot or from getting covered in ice from coming in contact from my two swords. I stood there as they all backed up as I could see that the leader of the group seemed a bit unaffected by what I had done.

He walked around his men as he drew out his sword and took his position in front of them as a guard stance. I stopped my temperature ability and put my two katanas away as it looked like he was going to defend his honor and his men. I pulled out my one double edged sword again and took a defensive position as well as I was just opposite of him. I knew that it was going to be a fight to disarm the combatant and hoped that I didn’t have to kill him to stop him. He soon charged at me with all his might and started to attack me in standard knight fashion as he was trying to get to where I was unbalanced and do a finishing move. It was a bit hard to read his movements as I was blocking each attack from him as they were causing me to move backwards. He looked like he knew what he was doing as he looked to be better trained at sword fighting than me as I was starting to have a bit of a hard time keeping up with him.

“You’re pretty good kid, where did you learn to handle the sword as well as you do,” the knight said as he seemed to be starting to break a small sweat.

“Easily, I learned everything I know from the captain of the royal draconic guard, along with different fighting styles from different dragons that learned them throughout the years and from different countries,” I said and took my ground and pushed him away as we came to a standstill.

He stumbled back a bit and caught himself as he shook himself some and looked at me. I made eye contact with him as I could tell he didn’t like killing at all. It seemed that he valued life and had his regards about killing dragons. I looked at his men and could tell the same thing as they were all just following orders as I lowered my sword and put it in my sheath. The leader looked at me and did the same thing and slowly walked up to me.

“I take it you know more than you’re telling me,” he said to me.

“Yes I do, I am sure that your leaders shared with you about a certain prophecy about three dragons that can take on human forms,” I said.

“Yes, they told me since I am the leader’s younger son. It seems that you are one of them I take it,” he said.

“Yes I am and I can tell you’re different from your older brother, you don’t fight to kill,” I said and folded my arms.

“No I don’t, I fight with honor, I got that from my mother’s side,” he said.

“Well, I thank you for not trying to kill me when I put my sword away, that is great honor right there, but I must ask you to let me pass through, for my little niece and wife are here and I need to free them,” I said.

“I will let you pass young one, and let you free your mate and little niece, along with the other dragons that are here. But I must advise you, my older brother has the blood lust in his eyes and will most likely not stop until he has killed you and has mounted your hide on his wall. The same thing can be said for my father,” the knight said.

“Thanks for the warning on your father, and I should suggest you get yourself and your men out of here quickly and quietly so that none of the hierarchy dragons that are here kill you,” I said and bowed some.

He bowed as well as he looked back at his men and shouted some orders. They regained themselves and grabbed their swords as best as they can as their leader started to run down the corridor as they followed him. I was glad that I was able to get through to him without killing him or any of his men. I turned around and started to walk in the direction I was heading to before I was stopped by them. I got to a door that said Holding Area, Keep Out as I knew I had gotten to the right place. The door looked to be one of those doors that will open only with a key card or a hand scan. I looked around it and saw a key pad with a hand scanner above it next to the door as I was right. I walked up to the door and tapped on it a couple of times as it felt like reinforced steel and about two to three inches thick. It would be tricky to get into as for some reason, I sensed that there were dragons right below where I sensed the others. It was strange that I was sensing this as it hit me that there was most likely a lower level where they kept dragons, and it was most likely that they kept hierarchy dragons in that level because of how dangerous they could be. I had to work quickly since there were probably more dragon slayers on their way here as I got into a stance and slammed my fist into the door as hard as possible.

It hurt slightly as scales had formed over my hand to help protect my hand as the door crumpled some from the force of my punch as I got into position again and slammed my fist into the door again. With the strength I have, my punches are like the force of a small wrecking ball as sparks flew out of the hinges this time from when I punched it. I growled a little bit and used all the strength I had in the last punch as I slammed my fist into it again as it was sent flying across the room and landed on the floor on the other side of the room and skidded some. I shook my hand some and walked into the room and looked around. I saw that there were a good amount of dragons locked up in cages as they ranged from anthro type dragons, to quad dragons, but what caught my attention was there were a couple eastern dragons as well. I growled some at what these knights did as the dragons didn’t hit me as hierarchy dragons but normal dragons that probably lived in the wild and were turned into dragons a good time ago. I looked around as I could tell that most of them were scared of seeing me because of what I did to the door.

I looked at each of the dragons as they were all shaking as I was trying to locate which cell was holding Elexia and Rachael. I was also hoping to find out which one had Ealdeth in it as I had to save him as well. As I was looking, I came across an anthro dragon that looked familiar. I walked up to him slowly as he was about 8 and a half feet tall, was bright red in color with yellow breast plates going down the front of him. He had a pair of pearl white horns along with short spikes going from the top of his head down to the tip of his tail. He also had a short mane of brown fur on his head. He looked oddly familiar to me as he slowly looked up at me. His eyes were yellow as well as I blinked some as it came to me on who it was. It was my friend that I knew from skype and DA as it was Spartan. I had used the dragon maker on DA to create a dragonsona for him and picked out the name Darixen for him as he looked exactly like the picture except for the mane of fur on his head.

“Spartan, is that really you?” I asked and walked up to the cage.

“Yeah, that’s my nick name, but how do you know it,” he asked looking at me as he got up.

“Spartan, it’s me Zilla, from DA. We chatted on skype remember,” I said.

He blinked a few times and went wide eyed as he finally remembered me from the few video chats we had on skype. I looked at the cage bars as they looked like they were made of titanium. That would be very hard to bend let alone break to get him and the others out. I didn’t want to use my temperature ability on them either for fear of the liquid metal burning them. I thought some and decided to rip them out of the wall. I grabbed onto two of the bars tight and started to pull on them with all of my strength. I grunted a bit as it was going to be a little hard as I started to hear creaking and groaning coming from where they were placed. Cracks started to form in the floor and in the ceiling as I finally managed to yank out the two poles from the cell. Some rubble fell to the floor as I tossed them to the side. I went and did it again with two more bars as I managed to get them out a bit more easily as I tossed them to the side as well.

Spartan was just watching me in amazement as I looked around at the other dragons as they were also staring at me shocked at how strong I was. I looked back at Spartan as he slowly came out of his cage and quickly embraced me in a hug. I chuckled and hugged him back as I patted him on his back as he suddenly lifted me off of the floor. I smiled as he set me back down soon and looked at me smiling happily that I was able to save him. Now that I was able to get him out, all I had to do was free the others as I had counted about 8 other dragons. I soon started to hear crying as I looked around quickly and saw Elexia along with Rachael in a cell together. I quickly ran over to them as I saw that Rachael was laying on the floor passed out. There were bandages on her arms and legs as I could tell they experimented on her some and that started to get my blood boiling. I also noticed a red anthro dragon in the cell beside them. He was about 9 feet tall, had antler like horns along with a short black mane that just went down his neck, and purple markings on his back. I recognized him as Ealdeth as I had to get him out as well as he was unconscious.

“Don’t worry Elexia, I’ll get you and Aunt Rachael out of here soon enough,” I said trying to comfort her as I grabbed onto two bars.

Before I could even try to get them out, I felt something grab the collar of my coat and yank me away from them. This caught me by surprise so much that I wasn’t even able to see who it was as I was flung across the room and landed with a thud near a control panel of some sorts. I groaned some as I slowly got up to see who did that to me. I saw that it was Nigel as he was in full armor and glaring at me. He didn’t look exactly pleased to see me as he almost seemed to be steaming and stewing over what Jason and I did to him practically 10 years ago. He was most likely unhappy about being put in a mental institute but I couldn’t blame him. He was spouting off about there being dragons around and about me and the others. Even though it was true, I did have a duty to make sure it was kept a secret until now. And since Rachael was locked up in a cell with Elexia, Jason and Jessie somewhere else in this strong hold, and Paul and the rest of the group outside fighting, it would be a bit difficult for me to take a stand alone against this guy. It wouldn’t be that difficult, but with how big this guy is and with the size of his muscles, he would definitely give me a good run for the money. I also had to worry about Spartan since he was already out of his cell and about the rest of the dragons that are in here.

“I take it you were lying in wait for me Nigel,” I said getting up and brushing some dust off of my coat.

“Yes I have, you cost me 10 years of my life because of what you did. You made me a fool and a laughing stock of the whole dragon slayer regiment,” Nigel said angrily.

“What, you weren’t already the laughing stock of your whole group back then? I thought you were and you were pretty foolish about attacking me in the public like that. Though I wouldn’t call you a fool per say, I’d say you’re more of the village idiot type,” I said with a grin.

That certainly got him riled up a bit as he charged at me. I stood my ground and clenched my fists a bit and soon hit him square in the side of the face. This caused him to go flying across the room some and land with a thud as I looked at him. He got up and rubbed his cheek a bit as he got up slowly. That punch seemed to barely affect him as he was wearing his armor. It seemed to be very strong, like all armor should be, but this type of armor seemed to be stronger than most. All I could be certain of is that the armor was possibly mixed with titanium, the strongest metal on earth, but also a pretty light metal considering what it is made of. This fight is going to be a bit harder than I thought because of that. He started to grin and soon laugh as it seemed that he was starting to go insane as I could see Spartan taking cover so that he wouldn’t be noticed by this guy.

“Care to tell me what you think is so funny,” I said and stood my ground.

“I’ve been waiting to take you out the moment you defeated me all those years ago. I don’t care what my father says. I’m going to kill you here and now instead of beating you to an inch of your life just so I could hand you over to him. You’re going to pay for humiliating me,” he said and drew his sword out.

“You can try you best Nigel, I won’t go down without a fight,” I said.

He soon charged at me as I drew out one of my double edged swords and quickly blocked his attack. The force of his attack pushed me back a bit as I had to regain my ground as I grunted a bit. I did feel myself skid back a bit as he was still trying to finish his first initial attack on me as he was starting to work at it. I soon pushed against his sword as I used a lot of my strength as he seemed to lose his balance at first as he stumbled back and regained his balance. I had gotten a good look at his sword as it looked to be mixed with something black because it had engravings in it and the engravings were all black. The sword was definitely stronger than normal and seemed to be strengthened by dragon scales. That was making me pretty steamed that he would use dragon scales just to use them to make his sword stronger. I had to stop him at all costs and it was going to be difficult if I couldn’t get his sword away from him. I got into a defensive position again as he swung his sword a bit and got ready to strike.

Before I could actually do anything, I started to get shocked from the floor as the voltage went through me. I growled some as I dropped my sword as the voltage was strong enough to mess with my body. The voltage soon stopped as I dropped down to one knee as it took a bit out of me as I heard footsteps. I looked up as my vision was a bit blurry as I saw Nigel running at me with his sword. I didn’t have a chance to grab any of my swords as I had to dive out of his way when he got to me and swung his sword. I righted myself and slowly got up but before I could react, I was grabbed by the throat and lifted up into the air. I struggled to get free as Nigel had me by the throat as I was trying to gasp for air. He was starting to grin widely as he knew he had me right where he had me.

“The best thing about this, I’m having this broad casted all over the country and world. Now people everywhere will know just how evil your kind is, but first, I want to get you into your other form,” he said as I was starting to get electrocuted again as I yelled out a bit in pain.

This time the electricity was much stronger as I was feeling my hold on my human form starting to slip. I growled in pain some as I felt my wing starting to grow out as they came out of my trench coat in full view as they grew to their full length. The scales started to cover my body as I tried to get away from him as I also felt my tail grow out. I had to do something to get him off of me as I concentrated as best as possible on my temperature ability. I could feel his metal gauntlet starting to heat up some as I had to get it to the right temperature before he would realize that he was getting burnt and let me go. I kept raising the temperature around his glove as I could tell he was trying to fight through the pain. He soon let out a cry of pain as he threw me across the room to get me to stop burning his hand. I groaned a bit as I hit the ground and skidded across the floor a bit. I coughed a bit as I was getting some air now as I caught my breath. I slowly sat up as my head was spinning from the lack of air and getting electrocuted by him as I had to find some way to keep him busy so I could recover. My vision started to slowly recover as the whole place started to shake some from explosions caused from inside the fortress. I could see the look of surprise on Nigel’s face when my vision cleared up just enough as I figured it was Krishna and possibly Jessie causing trouble somewhere else in here.

“What in the name of everything is happening here, who is causing these explosions,” he shouted out.

“That would most likely be my brother and sister causing some damage in the lower levels. I’m sure Jason, or Krishna as he likes to go by now, is releasing the dragons that are in the lower levels,” I said and tried to get up but fell back down as my legs gave out on me.

“They will be dealt with shortly, but for now I will deal with you,” he said and looked at me before walking towards me slowly.

“And what pray tell are you going to do to me, bore me to death with your endless talking,” I said.

“Oh, I’m going to kill you with my sword, and after that, I’m going to deal with your brother and sister that are destroying my fortress. When they’re dealt with, I’ll go and deal with your little army that is attacking us and skin them and mount their hides on my wall. Then I’ll go after your mate there and the little girl that is with them. Any human that is sided with you monsters don’t deserve to live, let alone grow up and try to seek vengeance against us. After dealing with them, I’m going to go after the rest of your family and listen to them scream and roar in pain. I may even show mercy on your offspring and end their lives quickly and soon deal with those humans you call family. I will make them pay for hiding you in their homes and not taking you out when you were born. I will make your mother watch as I kill off your father and siblings in front of her eyes before I kill her with my sword and make her beg me to stop or end her life quickly. But for now, I will make you suffer before I kill you for humiliating me all those years ago,” he said with a hateful grin on his face as he put his sword back in its sheath.

That did it for me, what he said he was going to do to my family sent me over the edge. I could feel anger and hatred swelling up inside of me as I could feel my strength starting to return. If Malvor and Articus were still inside of me, I would’ve been sent over the edge and snap completely, but I was about to anyway. I had to make sure I controlled my anger and rage and make sure that I show everybody in the world that’s watching that dragons aren’t monsters, especially me. I looked at him and glared at him as my sunglasses fell off of my face as my eyes were now draconic as he got to me and grabbed me by the scruff of my shirt. He picked me up and slammed me into the wall as I winced a bit in pain as my wings almost broke. He let go of me as I was now leaning against the wall and looked at him as he stepped back and raised his hand. He clenched it in a fist and I could hear his knuckles pop and crack some like someone would do to sound tough. He threw his fist at me with all of his strength as I quickly raised my hand and held it out as everything seemed to slow down again. His fist made connection with my opened hand as I could see the vibrations in the air of the two colliding as I was able to stop it fully and take the impact of his punch.

I could see the surprise in his eyes when I stopped his punch completely without even buckling. His punch was strong and probably had a good amount of force behind it. Especially with his armor on, that would’ve added some more impact force. I growled lowly and looked at him with enough controlled anger and focus in my eyes to stun just about anybody. I grabbed his hand and applied pressure as he could feel amount of pressure I was applying. It was almost like his hand was in a vice and being closed as his gauntlet was being crushed lightly. I soon let go as I clenched my other hand into a fist and rammed it into his chest plate. I used a lot of strength as that sent him flying a few feet as he landed with a thud on the ground and skidded across the floor. I shook my hand a little as I had left a small dent in his armor as he coughed a bit and slowly sat up as I heard a few cheers from the other dragons. I looked at Spartan and motioned him to start trying to free the others as he quickly ran over to the computer council and started to look it over. I had to buy him some time as I started to walk slowly over to Nigel.

“Your kind sickens me Nigel, you’ll do anything to win, even killing innocent children to get your ways. My niece and my children have done nothing to you, yet you want to kill them because they’re related to a dragon or are dragons in general. You don’t care how many lives you ruin as long as you meet your quota in killing dragons. You don’t show any mercy at all when it comes to killing the lives of those that don’t want to cause any trouble. All you care about is hunting them down as a sport.  You have no honor at all, I have more honor than you and I know my brother has more honor than you. You lost your honor when you decided to end the lives of innocent people and dragons alike,” I said frowning.

“Who cares about honor, all I care about is riding the world of you vile creatures. You are nothing more than mindless monsters that like to cause nothing but death and destruction where ever you go. Your kind deserves to be destroyed for what your ancestors have done over the centuries. Once we kill off your race here on earth, we will find a way to go to your realm and kill off your race entirely,” He said angrily after he got up fully.

“You are a simple minded fool. The only dragons that are like that are hierarchy dragons, your father filled your head with false stories. We are not like that at all, my grandparents rule Dragonia and I know for sure they will not let you win. They have something you will never have, they have honor and respect for the people that live here on earth, and they want peace and do not want to bring any harm to anybody at all. The rulers of the naga kingdom and the gryphon kingdom are the same, they want nothing but peace with earth,” I said.

All I could see in Nigel was anger and hatred, a hatred that grew over the course of time for anything that wasn’t human. He had the hatred that his family was carrying for centuries and thought that it was his job to rid the world of us. He wasn’t going to get a chance as he drew out his sword and charged at me. He was acting reckless now as I quickly drew my other doubled edged sword out as it was Jason’s as I blocked it easily. I pushed back on his sword and caused him to lose his balance some as he stumbled back. I was fighting differently this time as I was fighting to protect my family and friends this time and making sure that the world knows that dragons aren’t monsters. I soon charged at him with my sword as the air around it was starting to heat up some Nigel regained his balance to block my swing. I swung with an ark as our swords collided again as sparks seem to fly everywhere. I applied pressure as he seemed to be using all of his strength to keep me at bay.

I was making sure not to use too much heat to melt his sword, but just enough to heat it up to where it causes him some discomfort. He was definitely holding his ground as I let up some and quickly slammed my foot into his stomach to send him skidding across the floor again. I was using a lot more of my strength as he had dropped his sword and I kicked it away so he wouldn’t be able to use it again. I put my sword away as he was a gluten for punishment as he got up and charged at me again and yelled some in anger. I got into a defensive position and blocked his punch and was starting to move back some as he kept throwing punches and kicks at me. He was very well trained in hand to hand combat as well as I heard a bit of groaning soon. It sounded like it was coming from the one cage that Elexia, Rachael, and Ealdeth were in as I quickly blocked a punch from Nigel and grabbed his arm. He was surprised as I did a move that shifted his weight towards me. I used that to my advantage as I pushes my free hand against his chest plate and threw him over my head as he went flying into the computer screen that Spartan was trying to work on. He saw what happened and quickly moved out of the way as Nigel collided with the screen as sparks and glass fragments went everywhere as he landed with a thud on the floor. That action did something as the cage bars started to unlock and go into the floor as the dragons that were in them quickly came out.

That was good as I quickly went over to the one cage and blinked some as I didn’t see Rachael or Elexia in the cage anymore as Ealdeth was slowly coming to. I went over to him quickly and helped him sit up as he was rubbing his head. By the look of the cracked scales and dried blood on his snout, he went through a few ringers with either Nigel, or Nigel’s dad.

“Take it easy Ealdeth, it looks like you went through the ringer with a boxing pro,” I said and helped him sit.

“I feel like I was plowed over by a semi-truck,” he said rubbing his head.

“You look like that as well, but thankfully you don’t have any broken bones or wings,” I said with a grin as he looked at me and blinked.

“Now who are you,” he asked.

“Oh, that’s right, still partially human. It’s me Zilla,” I said as I started to change back into my anthro form.

He blinked and then smirked some as he recognized me some after I finished changing. Though he probably was expecting me to be blue and purple dragon with half feathered wings like a picture I did on a dragon maker on Da. He was wrong as I was still full metallic medium blue with white markings as I chuckled a bit and helped him up fully. He still seemed a bit weak in the knees as I helped support him as we walked out of the cage. We soon heard shouting as I looked over at where Nigel was as he was cornered against the computer council with a bunch of dragons surrounding him and growling. They looked to be about ready to attack him and tear him to shreds as he seemed helpless now as he was weakened from our fight. I let go of Ealdeth as he leaned against a storage box and walked over to them as I picked up one of the metal bars that I ripped out. It still had some concrete on it as it would come in handy in case it was called for.

“Alright everybody, move out of the way,” I said as I got to them.

“Why should we, he and his group captured us and practically tortured us,” one dragon said.

“I know, but he has some information that I need,” I said.

They all started to move out of the way as I made my way to him as he was slowly starting to stand up. He was shaking some and it wasn’t from fear. It was from being thrown across the room into the computer screen and getting a bit of shock from the electricity. He had to support himself on the council as he glared at me with anger.

“Now I’m going to ask once, where are my wife and my little niece,” I said a bit angrily.

“I see you figured out that they weren’t really there. They were just holograms of the real ones,” he said with a grin.

“Tell me where they are now or I’ll turn you over to my new friends here,” I said and glared at him.

“My father has them, and I’m sure they’re enjoying their time with him,” he said with and started to laugh.

I growled lowly as I clenched my free hand into a fist. I had a really hard time trying to control my anger as I soon punched him in the gut as all the wind went out of him and he went down on his knees gasping for air. I wanted to kill him and tear him to shreds, but that would be just playing right into his hands as making us look like monsters. I looked at the other dragons as they were watching the whole thing and was surprised that I didn’t kill him right there and then. I knelt down and looked at him as he was starting to catch his breath and looked up at me.

“I could just kill you here and now Nigel, or let these guys have a take at you for what you did to them and for all of the lives you took on every dragon that is now dead. But I’m going to show you mercy, I’m going to let you live knowing that a dragon was able to best you and live instead of killing you. That is going to be the ultimate blow to your ego, that a dragon was a better fighter and had honor and that your honor means nothing now,” I said and got back up.

He looked like he was steaming with anger as I turned around and looked at the other dragons who were smiling as the anthros and taurs started to clap some. I smiled and motioned them to head out of the door as they started to walk towards it as I started to make my way back over to Ealdeth. I soon heard Spartan shout something as I turned around and saw Nigel making his way at me with a knife. He didn’t learn his lesson at all as I was still holding the bar. I got into a defensive position and soon spun around some when he got near enough to me. I connected with him in the chest with the bar as the concrete that was connected to it shattered. Nigel’s breasts armor got cracks in it as it sent him flying towards the computer again as he hit the side wall with a loud crash as he made an indentation in the wall. I winced along with the others as he slid down the wall and collapsed on the floor. He started to cough as he coughed a bit of blood up from the impact as he slowly started to get up.

“If I’m going to go down, I’m going to take all of you monsters with me,” he said.

I realized what he was planning as I started to run towards him to stop him. I was too late though as he pushed a red button on the council as sirens and blinking red lights started to go off as a self-destruct sequence was activated. The screen was still working as 10 minutes appeared on it and started to count down as a computerized voice came out from the speakers saying 10 minutes until detonation.

“We need to get out of here now,” I shouted and turned to the dragons as they went wide eyed.

I quickly rushed over to Ealdeth along with Spartan as the other dragons rushed over to me. Spartan helped him up as I quickly opened a portal to the outskirts of the base and looked at the dragons.

“All of you need to get out of here now, this portal leads to the outskirts of the compound, and you will be safe there. Just look for some other dragons with a couple of humans, they’re my friends and if you see a dragoness wearing a trench coat as well along with two robotic like dragons, you will be safe,” I said as they started to head through.

“Aren’t you coming Zilla,” Spartan said as he and Ealdeth walked up to the portal.

“I can’t leave my wife and niece here Spartan, I have to go find them. If I don’t, my brother and the rest of my family will be devastated,” I said.

“Good luck with finding them than Zilla, we’ll be waiting on the other side for you,” Ealdeth said with a grin.

“Just don’t go dying on me Ealdeth, if you do, I’ll come after you,” I said with a smirk.

All three of us laughed some as the two of them went through the portal. I closed it when they got through to the other side. Once the portal was closed I looked over at Nigel and saw that he was gone now and saw a hidden door beside the council. I know he wasn’t going to be getting far with the injuries he had along with the fact that I had sent a bit of energy into him to make him turn into a dragon. I didn’t have time to go chasing after him as I dropped the bar and quickly grabbed my one sword along with his sword as he had forgotten to grab it and made my way out of the door that I came through. I put my sword back in its sheath as I started to quickly look for Rachael and Elexia. It soon hit me that I could sense for Rachael since she was my wife and started to concentrate on that. I was able to locate her a bit deeper in the strong hold but started to sense something else. I couldn’t tell what it was but it felt evil as I also sensed a gryphon. That was just great, I would have to save Shadow and I would’ve thought that he would be long gone by now. I started to make my way to their location as quickly as possible as the flashing red lights were still going off and signaling the countdown.

I had to make sure to stop that bomb from going off and destroying the place and killing off anybody that was still in here, along with Rachael and Elexia. If they die, I would never be able to forgive myself and I wouldn’t be able to look at John and Toni the same at all anymore. The compound was bigger than I had expected and I only had a handful of minutes to find them and I hadn’t even run into the real threat yet, Nigel’s father. If Nigel was this well trained in fighting and that big, his father would most likely be even bigger and stronger. I pushed that thought out of my mind and kept up my search for my wife and niece in the maze of twists and turns.
Here's chapter 30, hope you all like it. The attack on the Dragon Slayer compound is underway and I'm sure you're all curious at what will happen in the next chapter of the attack. But that will have to wait until next week when I post chapter 31.
