Sarika was flying next Aldric the whole way to meet his parents while Anthea was flying next to Talmon. Kyran was in front of them and leading them to where their parents lived. They had to leave the valley where they lived and were flying for about two days now when the landed in a lightly wooded area near a river to rest for the evening. Aldric and Talmon went into the woods to hunt for some food for them while the three dragonesses lied down by the river and got a drink of water. They were tired and thirsty from flying all day long and were very hungry when their stomachs growled loudly. Anthea smiled sheepishly and blushed some at this as Sarika and Kyran both giggled at this.

"I guess we're all hungry from flying." Kyran said.

"Yes I guess so. Right now, I feel I could eat a whole cow."Anthea said.

"You probably could sis." Sarika said and giggled again.

The three of them conversed over such things awhile, joking and giggling. They seemed to bond rather nicely, like any regular dragonesses would, even considering the past of Sarika and Anthea, it still felt rather normal for the three of them. In the meanwhile, Aldric and Talmon were busy talking themselves, while waiting for their prey to get into their clutches.

"Getting pretty close to mom and dad aren't we?" Aldric asked Talmon, looking over at him, still keen on the prey that was soon to come.

"Yes we are, we should be there in about another day or so." Talmon replied as he glanced at Aldric and back at their prey.

The prey that they were hunting looked like a large type of moose or something and was easily twice as big as one and this one was a female so they didn't have to worry about the antlers. As their prey got closer to them, Talmon proceeded to get ready to pounce and started to growl lightly. He smirked when it got over to them and jumped at it and roared some as he tackled the animal and landed on top of it on the ground. The animal struggled for a few minutes as Talmon wrapped his jaws around the animal's neck and snapped its neck in one easy motion and blood was dripping from his mouth as he let go of the dead animal and smiled some as he looked at Aldric.

"Well, one down, one to go." he said smugly.

Aldric nodded and was soon alert of another not too far, this was his kill. He crouched quietly and then proceeded for the kill. He saw it stand there, unaware of its fate. Swiftly and quickly and almost frighteningly, Aldric pounced out and clutched onto the creature's side and dug his teeth in it.

"Ha, too easy," he commented.

Talmon smiled at this as he stood over his kill. "Well, I guess that Kyran will have to go after her own meal." he said and did a toothy grin as he bent over and picked up his kill by the neck.

He proceeded to drag it back to the river with Aldric close behind him with his kill and the track back to the river would take a few minutes because of how large the kills were. After walking for about 20 minutes, they finally reached the river and saw the three dragonesses chatting by the river and giggling. Talmon got an idea as he quietly put his kill down and crept up on Anthea smiling mischievously.

Aldric smiled a bit as he saw his brother creep up to Anthea. Indeed the both of them were lucky to meet ones they liked. Although, the thought of confronting their parents about this was still fresh in his mind, he didn't want Anthea or Sarika to be highly embarrassed or rejected. Still now was the time for a bit of relaxing, when they would meet their parents would come later, so matters like that would have to be thought out later. He smirked a bit to see what the outcome of Talmon's mischievousness might turn out to be.

Talmon quietly sneaked up beside Anthea without her noticing and he was glad that Kyran and Sarika didn't notice him as well. He put his head close to Anthea's ear and tried to make sure not to laugh as he breathed in quietly and slowly. He hoped that this would work out and that she wouldn't try to slash at him for scaring her. That happened to him a couple of times when he would scare Kyran when they were younger and he always tried to get faster at it so he wouldn't get hurt. He smiled widely as he was going to scare her.

"Boo!" he said loudly.

Anthea flinched madly, screaming, "AHHHHHHH!!"

Aldric chuckled at this, but Talmon might have to learn from doing that. He thought that Anthea might not take too kindly to his action.

Talmon rolled onto his back and started laughing loudly at Anthea's reaction and Sarika and Kyran giggled at this. Pretty soon, Talmon lost his footing on the bank of the river and rolled down into the water with a giant splash. He slowly lifted his head out of the water and shook it to get the water off of his head.

Anthea in turn laughed out loud, Talmon deserved that dunk in the river and he probably knew it too. Soon enough all of them were laughing, having a good time out of it. This lasted for a few moments before it was time to eat. Aldric and Talmon dropped the meat down onto the ground.

"Ladies first," Aldric said.

Sarika, Kyran, and Anthea all smiled some and started eating the meat. Sarika and Kyran were both surprised by how good the meat tasted and loved the taste of it and they both continued to eat the meat. Anthea soon looked up at Talmon and smiled some more as a little bit of blood dripped from her muzzle.

"This is really good. Thank you." she said.

"No problem," Talmon chuckled, seeing that Anthea was rather used to eating like a dragon now, she didn't even cower that blood was coming down her muzzle.

Sarika looked up and looked at Anthea and giggled some as she saw her sister's muzzle covered in blood. Talmon chuckled as well as he walked over to Anthea and licked some of the blood that was dripping from the side of her muzzle.

Anthea smiled at Talmon's action, even giggled a bit afterwards. Sarika did feel happy for her sister as well, the change did sort of change Anthea, and she was less rude and rowdy. Soon, when the three dragonesses had finished their fill, Aldric and Talmon went to finish up the rest of the meat. While doing so, the three dragonesses went to talk again in a clearing not too far away, and the two dragons were left alone.

Talmon glanced over to look at the three of them from time to time and smiled some as he continued eating. He was glad that Anthea was happy now about being a dragoness and was hoping that they would be able to spend a lot of time together in the near future. He was even starting to fall in love with her and was hoping that they could be mates. He soon looked over at Aldric and smirked some as he thought of something.

"So Aldric, when are you going to ask Sarika to go out with you." he asked jokingly.

"Me? Well, I don't know when," Aldric replied, "Maybe after they meet our parents. Hm, you know, we haven't really met their parents, I mean, I have but you haven't. And, what happens if our parents ask to meet their parents?"

Talmon nods at this some and takes another bite of his meat.

"I know what you mean Aldric, by the way, what are their parents like anyway?" he asked after he swallowed his meat.

"Rather nice and rather accepting," Aldric replied, "They didn't shun her or anything when they found out."

"That's good to hear Aldric. And what did they say when you brought Anthea here with you two." he asked curiously.

"Heh, well, the both of them had to discuss it, but they ultimately approved," chuckled Aldric.

Talmon chuckled as well at this. He started to wish that he had gone with Aldric to meet Sarika's and Anthea's parents and to see the expression on Anthea's face when her parents approved of bringing her here to live out the rest of her life as a dragoness. He was also thinking that Kyran would've liked to have met their parents as well and had some fun with Anthea when she was a human.

"But, I wonder, what do you think might happen if our parents collided with Sarika and Anthea's?" Aldric almost let out a laugh; he actually thought it would be a rather hilarious idea.

Talmon laughed as well and almost chocked on a piece of meat at the thought of it. He coughed some as the piece of meat came out of his mouth and he breathed a bit heavily and soon calmed down and looked at Aldric smiling.

"I don't know Aldric; it would be a bit funny. And who knows, maybe Sarika's and Anthea's parents would like to come live here." he said smiling.

"Oh sure, and maybe their sister," Aldric laughed loudly soon after, "We could try, although then we'd have to bring in their family, and then their family's family into the matter."

"Yeah, I know what you mean, but one thing puzzles me. If Anthea was a male human that turned into a dragoness, wouldn't her human sister turn into a dragon when she comes through the cave?" he asked curiously.

Aldric perked up at the thought, "Maybe you're right. Although, it may only be done to those three since they sibling related. The parents may just be the same, just turned into dragons; that's all."

"Yeah, you might be right about that. Heck, their sister might end up their brother and Kyran might end up with a crush." he said and started grinning from ear to ear.

Aldric laughed at the idea, "Heh, yeah. But, we'll decide upon that later."

"Yeah, right now we should try to get some rest. I'm sure the girls are pretty tired themselves from all that flying we did today." Talmon said as he let out a long yawn.

Aldric nodded and then said, "We'll just let them talk wherever they are and they'll sleep eventually. I'm just way too tired to see where they are right now."

"So am I Aldric, so am I." he said as he lied down where he was and closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Aldric did so too, and dreamt.

Early the next morning, Talmon slowly woke up and felt something laying next to him and was breathing slowly. He slowly opened his eyes and lifted his head slightly. He looked over and saw that it was Anthea that was sleeping next to him soundly and he smiled softly at that. He placed his wing over her to keep her warm and lied his head back down as well, but stayed awake, just enjoying the sight of the forest that they were in and the sound of the rushing water that the river was making. He didn't want to wake up Anthea at the moment and looks at the others to see that they were still sleeping as well and Sarika was sleeping close to Aldric and he smiled even more at the sight. It was still slightly dark outside and he could see the sun starting to rise slowly because he could see that it was starting to get light in one part of the sky above the trees.

Aldric yawned and woke up quietly to see Sarika sleeping next to him, he smiled and got up and stretched. "Well, today's the day I guess," he said quietly to Talmon.

"Yes, but let's enjoy the moment right now. Sarika and Anthea look so peaceful sleeping and I don't want to disturb Anthea." he said quietly.

"Why don't we get them some breakfast?" Aldric grinned, feeling rather giddy for hunting today.

Talmon laughed quietly at this as he slowly got up and stretched. He made sure that he didn't wake up Anthea as he walked away from her and towards Aldric and Sarika.

"Okay, what should we get them for breakfast." he said.

"Well, we could get the same thing from yesterday," Aldric suggested.

"Why not and maybe we can find some fruit around here as well." he said and started walking towards the woods.

Aldric nodded and got up as well did Talmon and they both headed off to go hunting but not while conversing and coming up with laughable ideas of things to come.

"Now that I think about it," Aldric started out, "things seem happier than gloomy."

"Yes, you're right about that Aldric. I'm actually happy that we met them and stuff." he said.

"I am as well," Aldric replied, "I actually can't wait for what's going to happen in the future."

"Neither can I Aldric." he said smiling.

They soon reached the same spot that they hunted the day before and lied in wait for their next meal to come around.

"Heh, it seems that we both can't wait," Aldric whispered and then suddenly pounced onto one of the creatures and came back to Talmon, he soon finished his first words, "I wonder if the girls are thinking about the future as well."

"Most likely Aldric." he whispered. He then pounced onto another creature and snapped its neck like before and dragged it back towards Aldric.

"Now to get some fruit to eat." he said.

Aldric nodded and got up, the meat still in his mouth, he muffled through it, "I bet they're thinking about taking their family into this place as well."

Talmon nodded as he picked up his meat and started dragging the meat back to where they slept the night before with Aldric right behind him.

They both dropped the meat down and Aldric glanced over at Talmon and asked, "I'm sure they'll wake up to the scent of meat, let's just go and get some fruits."

"Okay and I know where we can get some. Kyran and I stopped by here when we were coming back from visiting mom and dad." he said.

Aldric nodded and followed his brother to go and gather some fruit, asking, "So, how are mom and dad?"

"Oh, they're doing fine right now. They've been asking how you are and why the two of us haven't found anyone yet." he said and laughed quietly.

"Heh, just like the two of them to not point out Kyran," chuckled Aldric, "No one's asked about her yet."

"Well, what can you do when she's the only daughter in the family and of course the favorite in the family as well." he chuckled some as well.

"Yeah," agreed Aldric. "Can't do anything about it."

They continued walking through the woods and came across the part of the woods that had the fruit on them and on the bushes. Some of the fruit were even start shaped and Talmon walked over to them first and stood on his hind legs and grabbed a piece from the tree and ate it.

"Man, I'm glad that we were able to find these star fruit here. They still taste the same as when we were kids." he said as juice ran down the side of his face.

Aldric took a bite and then happily agreed, "You're right! It's still amazing!"

Talmon smiled some as he starts to pick some of the star fruit from the tree and puts them in a pile nearby. He still munched on one every once in a while and enjoyed them happily.

"I hope that Sarika and Anthea like them." he said happily.

"I'm sure they will," Aldric replied, "They haven't had any unique food like it."

"Yeah, should we get them some sun fruit as well? Those things are still tart as usual, but still tasty." he said.

Aldric nodded and added some sun fruit to his pile. After a few moments they had both gathered enough fruits. "Okay, I'm ready to go," Aldric told Talmon.

"So am I Aldric." he said and licked some fruit juice from his lips and walks to the pile.

"Okay, let's go then," Aldric told his brother as he soon headed off to where the dragonesses were, who were actually already awake.

They soon get back to where the dragonesses were and saw that they were already eating the meat that they had brought early. Sarika and Anthea look up and smile when they see Talmon and Aldric and get a bit of a questionable look on their faces when they see the fruit that they're carrying.

"What type of fruit is that Aldric?" Sarika asked curiously.

"These here are star fruits and sun fruits, Sarika," Aldric answered.

"Oh, and are they good?" he asked.

"They are really good Sarika," Aldric replied, "Trust me."

"Okay, I wouldn't mind trying some." she said as she smiled lightly.

Aldric nodded and dropped the fruit down and invited Sarika to eat some.

Sarika got up and walked over to him and tried one of the star fruits first. She picked it up in her mouth and started eating it as the juice went down the side of her muzzle and started to trickle down her throat. She went a bit wide eyed at the taste of the fruit and started eating it happily and swallowed it.

"Wow, that is really good." she said.

"I knew you'd like it," Aldric smiled and continued watching her eat.

Sarika continued eating the star fruit happily and made sure to leave some for Anthea and Kyran. She soon looked at the sun fruit and picked up one in her mouth and started eating it. She went wide eyed when she found out that it was tart instead of sweet like the star fruit. When he was human, she really liked tart candy and tart fruit every once in a while. The sun fruit topped them both in taste as well as tartness. She happily continued to eat the fruit and lied back down satisfied.

"That fruit was really good." she said.

"I'm glad you liked it Sarika," Aldric commented with a smile.

So am I Aldric." she said and soon let out a small burp and started blushing some.

Aldric chuckled a bit, and then asked, "So, would you like to take a small walk before we head off?"

"Yes I would like to Aldric. I need to stretch some before we take off again." she said as she got up and stretched her neck and tail.

Aldric nodded and started heading off, Sarika soon followed and they both walked by each other's side. Aldric smiled and told her, "You know, it's funny, I was having a thought at the future..."

Sarika blushed lightly at this. "Really Aldric." she said.

"Yeah," Aldric replied, "Not too far though. mainly about you meeting my parents, and the thought of our parents meeting each other."

She looked down at the ground when he said this. She didn't know what to expect when she and Anthea met their parents. She didn't want their parents to pry into their backgrounds, let alone meet her parents just yet. "That would be interesting if they did ask to meet my and Anthea's parents and sister." she said.

"Yeah, even discussed if your family would actually like to live here," Aldric admitted.

Sarika went wide eyed at this and looked at Aldric a bit surprised. "You and Talmon actually talked about that." she said.

"Yes we did, couldn't help it," Aldric answered, "I'm sorry."

"It's okay Aldric. I was kinda thinking of seeing if they would like to come here themselves." she said and smiled some.

"Really? Heh, well, if you can't live your family, might as well get your family to live with you," laughed Aldric.

"Yeah, but I'm starting to wonder what will happen to Brittany in case they do come live here they do come live here with us." she said as she looked down again.

"Well, Talmon and I were thinking that she might end up a male dragon," Aldric told her, "Just like how you and Anthea used to be males as well. And knowing you're all siblings the effects would be the same for the three of you."

Sarika went wide eyed at this and started to get a bit worried. She didn't know how Brittany would take from going from a female human to a male dragon and hoped that she wouldn't crack from it and end up crying just like she did when she turned into a dragoness. She knew that she and the others would be there for Brittany when this did happened and hoped that Brittany will take the transition well enough like Anthea did.

"Yeah, sort of surprising, I know," Aldric admitted, "But, hey she might get used to it like Anthea did as well as you did."

"Yeah, so do I Aldric, so do I." she said as she looked at him and smiled softly.

Aldric soon chuckled, "It'd be pretty funny though, I mean, Brittany did want Anthea to learn a lesson, right? Well, she would definitely be surprised about getting well, the same treatment."

Sarika giggled some at this. "Yes it would be, and it would be funny if Kyran got a crush on her when she becomes a male dragon."

"Heh, that's exactly what I said," Aldric admitted, laughing soon after.

Sarika started laughing as well and started to get another idea. She looked at Aldric and soon planted a kiss right on his cheek, wondering if it'll have the same effect as last time.

Aldric's eyes soon widened rather large, he really didn't expect that to happen so suddenly. He smiled and asked, "You really do like to kiss me a lot, don't you?"

She giggled some at this as she kept looking at him. "Yes I do like doing that to you Aldric; it's so funny to see your reaction."

"Oh really?" Aldric looked at her and immediately after saying that he kissed her muzzle to muzzle.

She went completely wide eyed when this happened. She didn't expect him to do this and she started to blush as she closed her eyes and started kissing him back.

He soon finished the kiss after for a few moments and simply looked at her and smiled. "Aww," he shrugged, "I thought you would faint or something." He soon chuckled and expected a small hit from her tail or a nudge of her horns.

She kept on blushing madly as she looked behind him and saw that he was close to the edge of the river. She smiled a bit and took her tail and wrapped it around his hind leg and pulled on it.

"Whoa hey!" He yelled and he soon took a plunge in the river, after a few moments he just laughed.

Sarika started laughing as well at the sight. She kept on smiling and soon jumped into the river right beside Aldric with a big splash.

Aldric braced for the water to splash upon him and as soon as it did he just went up to Sarika and touched sides with her. "Well, that was fun," he admitted.

"Yes it was fun." she said as he touched sides with her. She was still smiling as she kissed Aldric muzzle to muzzle this time and waited to see what his reaction was this time.

Aldric was calm this time, not surprised like last time. After a few moments he then told her, "Hey, isn't one kiss good enough?" He laughed a bit.

Sarika giggled at this and got up and started walking in the river. She looked back at Aldric and smiled softly at him. "Well, aren't we going to finish our little walk Aldric." she said.

"Oh yeah, it was a walk wasn't it?" he joked and got up to follow her. They kept walking for some few minutes, looking around and enjoying the sights.

"This place is breathtaking Aldric." she said as she looked around. The leaves on the trees were different colors and it was summer. The forest practically looked like a rainbow and there were birds chirping everywhere and flying from tree to tree and squirrels were chattering on the trees as well.

"Yeah," he replied, "It's great to live out here, and well, I'm glad you get to live here."

"So am I Aldric. And I'm glad that I met you as well." she said.

"Same to you," Aldric smiled, "I wish others could see this place and experience its magic."

"Yes, so do I." she said.

"Well, the funny thing is, when we get your family into it, we'd have to be getting your family's family into it," he told her, "It may or may not be a bad thing but I thought it rather stressful and funny."

"Yeah, I know what you mean by that Aldric." she said and smiled some at this.

"Although how they'd all react would be one thing and how they'd accept it would be another," Aldric informed Sarika.

"Yes it would be Aldric." she said and sighed some. She hoped that they didn't break down and try to do the same thing she tried to do when she first became a dragon and try to go back through the cave and try to become human again.

"But then again, we're giving them a choice, if they'd want to be a dragon or not," Aldric commented.

"Yes, it would be nice to have some family here, and it is entirely up to them." she said. She soon starts thinking about her friends back on earth and starts giggling some if they ever find out that she was now a dragoness.

"You know, I've wondered if even some dragons wanted to go into the human world," Aldric said.

"I don't know Aldric, but right now I'm thinking of what my human friends would think if they saw me now." she said and kept on giggling.

"Oh really?" Aldric asked, "Well, who knows, they might end up like how Travis reacted and some well, might think it for the better."

"Yes, it would be a bit funny. Plus it would be even funnier when they see that she's now my sister instead of my brother. Plus I wonder what would happen if they came through the cave and turned into dragonesses." she said and started to calm down.

Aldric could only laugh at this, "Yeah, heh, but I'm sure it might affect some of them, it'd be funny if it'd affect all of them."

"Yeah, I know what you mean Aldric. It would be funny if they all acted the same way when it happens to them," she said and giggled lightly and looked at him, "So, what else have you been thinking of beside Anthea meeting your parents and them probably wanting to meet our parents."

"Not much, I guess pretty much how our lives will turn out," he answered.

"Okay," she starts to smile some more, "I take it that you're thinking about our future of maybe becoming mates, right."

"Uh," Aldric started to blush, "W-well if, you'd like to, I mean..."

She smiled widely at this as she say that he was starting to squirm some and blushing. She knew that she hit something when she said that and he was starting to stutter some. She was thinking of ways to push it a bit further and see if she could get him to stutter some more. She stopped and looked at him and got very close to his muzzle. "And I thought that you had a crush on me." she said playfully.

"I-I do," he said, "B-but that doesn't m-mean we can't be mates... d-does it?"

She kept on smiling at this and started to push it a bit further and started to purr lightly. "Well, Kyran did tell Anthea and me about how your parents always asked if you found somebody and not ask if she did."

"U-um, w-well," Aldric really didn't know how to finish it off, he just sort of went quiet afterwards.

She started giggling at this as Aldric went completely quiet after she said this. She was happy that she could still get him to stutter like this and turned around and started walking again. "I can see that I can make you stutter still." she said through fits of giggles.

Aldric still stayed quiet and caught up with her. With nothing else better to do he went on, "S-so... w-would you like to...?"

"Would I like to what?" she asked as she started to calm down some.

"Y-you know, be my," Aldric paused a moment, "...mate?"

She went a bit wide eyed at this and smiled softly as she stopped and looked at him. She didn't expect him to ask this fast and was a bit happy that he did ask. She started to blush some at this and kissed him on the cheek. "Yes, I would like to be your mate." she said.

Aldric perked up and looked at her, "Really?"

"Yes really." she said and kept on smiling.

Aldric looked at her and grinned a nice big toothy one. He had no other words to say, yet he had a plan, "Sarika, let's keep this a secret, okay? Until, well, we finish things with my parents, okay?"

"Okay Aldric. Should we keep this a secret from the others as well." she said as she smiled a toothy grin as well.

"Of course, I want it to be a great surprise!" he exclaimed.

"Okay. Anthea is going to be so surprised by the news that we're mates now." she said and started to giggle again.

"Yeah," Aldric agreed, "Well, we should be off then, get this thing over with, and well, hope it leads into some other things."

"Yes we should. I'm betting that the others are wondering what's taking us so long." she said.

"Yeah, come on let's go," Aldric said as he walked alongside his new mate to the others, ready to meet their parents.

Anthea soon got done eating her meal and was getting a drink of water from the river and to wash the blood and fruit juice off of her muzzle. She was wondering what was taking Sarika and Aldric so long with their walk and lifts her head from the river as water was dripping from her muzzle. She looked around and saw Sarika and Aldric coming around the bin of the river and smiled some.

"Hey you two, there they are now." she said.

"Yeah, sorry," Aldric apologized, "Just marveling at this place."

"It's okay Aldric, we just got done eating breakfast." Talmon said.

Aldric nodded and then informed, "So now that we're all ready, why don't we go to see our parents then?"

"Okay Aldric, we're ready when you are." Talmon said and smiled.

He nodded and then started to beat his wings and Sarika did so as well, in a few moments all five of them were heading off. It took only a few hours but soon enough they had arrived at the cave of the parents. Aldric was the first to peer in.

"Mom, dad, are you in there?" he called out.

About a minute later, noises could be heard from inside the cave. It almost sounded like groaning was coming from the cave and the soon started to hear claws clicking against the cave floor. A few minutes later a large yellow quadruped dragon and a large orange quadruped dragoness came out of the cave. They both had white horns on the back of their heads and white spikes going down their necks and ending at the tips of their tails. The membrane of the yellow dragon's wings looked like it was a lighter yellow and the color of the dragoness's wings were a lighter orange. They were bigger than Sarika and the others and Sarika and Anthea both backed up a bit when the two dragons came out.

"Who is it?" the male dragon called out, "Who's there?"

"It's me dad, Aldric," Aldric replied, "There's some others who want to meet you."

"Hm? Oh, Aldric!" his father exclaimed, "It's great to see you!"

Aldric smiled some as he looked at his dad, the dragoness soon smiled as she saw Aldric and walked over to him and nuzzled him lightly. Aldric started to blush lightly at this and she continued nuzzling him.

"Awww mom, not in front of the others." he said.

"But we haven't seen you in so long Aldric. We were hoping that you would've come with your brother and sister when they came to visit." she said.

Sarika giggled at this, seeing him embarrassed was rather funny. She continued watching the chemistry between Aldric's parents and himself start to unfold.

"It hasn't been that long mom," Aldric replied.

She soon stopped nuzzling Aldric and looked behind him and saw Sarika standing there with Anthea. She smiled softly as she looked at each one of them for a few minutes and turned back towards Aldric smiling still.

"Who are your two friends Aldric." she said.

"Well, they're Sarika and Anthea," Aldric explained, "we met not too long ago. Anthea is rather new though, we met her just three days ago."

"Okay," she said as she looked back over at Sarika and Anthea, "It's very nice to meet the two of you."

"It's nice to finally meet you," Sarika replied, happily.

"Yes it is nice to meet you," Anthea replied as well and smiled lightly at this.

"So, where are you two from?" Aldric's father asked.

Sarika and Anthea started to get a bit worried about this and didn't know what to say. Sarika started to think of what to tell Aldric's father and had a hard time of coming up with something to tell them. She came up with an idea of what to tell them and smiled softly as she looked at Aldric's father.

"We're from over the mountains where Aldric, Talmon, and Kyran live at. Anthea here is my older sister." she said and hoped that Aldric's father and mother would believe it.

Anthea looked over at Sarika a moment and reminded quietly, "You mean younger sister, Sarika."

"Oh yeah, sorry about that Anthea." she said quietly back.

"She means younger sister," Anthea corrected to Aldric's father.

"Oh really now. Well, it is still nice to meet you two." he said and smiled a toothy grin.

They both nodded, and thought they would have gotten away with it; however Aldric's father pressed on, "Where over these mountains?"

"We, um, live over the mountains that have that one cave in it sir." Sarika said nervously. She didn't want to tell them that they actually came from earth and were actually humans, let alone males, at one time. She was really hoping that he wouldn't ask any more questions about where they came from.

"Mmm, one cave? You mean the one that leads to the human world?" Aldric's father asked, looking at the both of them.

"Dear!" Aldric's mother intervened.

Sarika and Anthea both breathed a sigh of relief when Aldric's mother intervened and looked at each other. They had just bit the bullet and were almost found out when she did this. Sarika didn't know what to do now as they just remained silent and waited to see what else would happen.

"Minali, you know as well as I that those two must've been humans," Aldric's father explained.

"But how can you be sure that they were humans Nereus. The cave entrance is very well hidden in the human world," Minali said.

"But Minali, no one goes off to live in that cave," Nereus implied, "You know that."

"Yes I do know that Nereus, and I also know that the cave usually changes with time so that any dragon who enters it would get lost in trying to find the way to the human world." Minali replied.

"Well, why would any dragon want to? Other than being a human before?" Nereus asked.

"If they were human once before, would they be standing here with our children." Minali asked back.

Nereus sighed, "Dear, you know how our children like to cover things up, why don't you ask them?"

Minali sighed as well as she looked over at Aldric, Talmon, and Kyran. She could see that Sarika and Anthea were standing behind the three of them and could tell that they were very nervous. She looked back over at Aldric and walked over to him.

"Aldric, are you and your brother and sister covering up the fact that Sarika and Anthea used to be humans." she asked him.

Aldric gulped, he knew they were caught; he could lie to his parents about this, especially after not having seen them in a long time. "Y-yes mom," he replied, "Sarika and Anthea were humans..."

Sarika and Anthea both gulped as well when Aldric told his mother and all she did was sigh and look back at his father. The two of them didn't know what to do now that their secret about them being humans at one time was out. Sarika was really hoping that his father didn't get mad at the two of them and try to chase them off, especially since that she and Aldric were now mates.

"Anything else I should know about?" Nereus asked, "And don't expect me to fall for anything."

Aldric was starting to get really nervous now as his dad bombarded him with this question. He didn't want to tell them the truth that Sarika and Anthea were not only human at one time, but were male humans as well. He just wished that his father would drop it right there and now instead of pushing this conversation further.

"N-no there isn't dad," he said and gulped some.

"You sure son?" Nereus sort of shot a glare at Aldric.

"W-well, there is one thing dad," he began to say as he looked back at Sarika and turned back towards his father, "Sarika and I are mates now."

Nereus sort of perked up, "You mean...?"

"Yes dad, the two of us are in love with each." he said and breathed a low breath of relief.

"Really?" Nereus sort of grinned feeling rather proud of his son, "Well that's great! Rather strange but, I'm happy for you!"

"You don't know how strange it could've been..." Talmon accidentally blurted out.

Aldric shot Talmon a look that made him shut up and take a step backwards and looked back at his parents who were both looking at Talmon curiously and their mother looked at Aldric after about a minute.

"What does Talmon mean by that dear," she asked.

Aldric couldn't believe it, Talmon had just got them cornered, how he would explain this to his parents, he did not know how. "Well, Sarika and Anthea were humans but..." he trailed off, not knowing how to finish it lightly.

"But what Aldric." their dad said as he took a step towards him.

Aldric looked down and then finished it, "They used to be males..." He flinched at the last word as well did Talmon. The three dragonesses winced a bit as well.

Their father went wide eyed at the news and just looked at their mother who was also wide eyed at the sudden news. Sarika didn't know what was going to happen next and started hoping that nothing bad was going to happen to her and Anthea. She was also hoping that nothing would happen to Aldric since she loved him as well.

"Humans was enough but, male humans?" Nereus seemed to have an agitated voice.

"Dad please. C-can't you just let it be." Aldric tried to plead with his father in hopes of trying to calm him down.

"Let what be? Th-this relationship you keep with...it?" his father replied, seeming to get angrier with each word.

Sarika and Anthea started to get extremely scared at this point and both of them start to back away quietly in hopes that Aldric's father won't see them trying to leave.

Nereus glared over at them and then back at Talmon and Aldric. "Why? Why would you pick them?"

Aldric and Talmon both look down at the ground to avoid their father's glare. They didn't know what to tell him.

"I can't believe this," Nereus growled, "This isn't right, why? Ugh..."

Sarika couldn't take this anymore as tears started to appear in her eyes as she turned around and spread her wings and flew off crying. Anthea saw this and followed her as tears were starting to appear in her eyes as well.

"Sarika! Anthea!" Aldric cried as he saw them, "No! Please don't go!"

Sarika and Anthea heard him say this but didn't listen as they kept on flying away from them and were still crying.

"Good riddance," Nereus muttered quietly, and then with a regular tone, "Son, you know that how it is would be strange. I mean, she used to be a he and well... it's just odd!"

Tears started to run down Aldric's face as he watched Sarika and Anthea get further away from them. His dad just made him lose his mate and possible his brother's future mate and he started to get angry. He turned back towards his dad and growled lowly at him.

"Dad, how could you just say that! Sarika had no one when she first came here and I was the first dragon to actually befriend her!" he practically roared at him and took off flying after Sarika and Anthea.

Nereus could only sigh, he looked over to Minali and only commented, "I don't know about him, Minali, I mean, you know. Why would he?"

Minali just looked at Aldric as he was flying after the two dragonesses and sighed some as a tear ran down her face. She looked back at Nereus with a bit of a sad look on her face. She had a secret that nobody knew about, not even Nereus and their children. She thought that she should tell him now since she saw how he reacted to Sarika's and Anthea's secrets.

Nereus sighed again and asked, "What do you think, dear?"

"I think that they had a good reason for trying to keep their past lives a secret Nereus. They were afraid of what would happen and you just proved their point." she said and looked away from him with a bit of angry in her eyes.

"W-what? What are you saying," Nereus pressed on.

"Because I used to be a human as well before I met you Nereus." she said as she looked back at him and tears were freely flowing from her eyes.

Nereus perked up, and asked surprisingly, "You were?"

"Yes, I was, and I was just like those two, a male." she said with a bit of anger in her voice.

"What!?" Nereus went wide eyed and looked at Minali, "B-but you never told me..."

"That's because I was afraid of what you might say and act, and now I know," she said as she started to walk away from him, "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go have a talk with them."

She spread her wings and started flying in the same direction that Aldric, Sarika, and Anthea went in. She was still angry at what Nereus said to the two dragonesses and hoped that she could try to fix things.

"W-wait!" Nereus stammered as he went to follow her, still shocked about his mate's past.

Talmon and Kyran were both shocked when they heard their mother say that she used to be human. They soon shook their heads and followed their father after he flew off after their mother and the others. Meanwhile, Sarika and Anthea were a ways ahead of the others and Sarika was still crying over what happened. She looked down to see a small clearing in the forest below them and started to descend towards it with Anthea close behind her. They landed in the clearing and Sarika collapsed onto the ground and lied there crying her heart out as the ground underneath her head was starting to get wet. All Anthea could do was walk up and lie down beside her and place her wing over her and try to comfort her.

"Sarika, I'm sure everything will be okay." she said as tears were still going down her face as well.

"It won't, you heard Aldric's father," Sarika cried, "He referred to me as an 'it'!"

"I know Sarika, but we'll get over it together, just the two of us." she said and started to cry as well.

Sarika only sniffled at this but was happy for her sister to comfort her at a time like this. She then weakly replied, "Thank you Anthea."

"You're welcome Sarika. That's what sisters are for." she said as she sniffed some as well.

Sarika smiled a bit and leaned onto her sister, still crying.

Anthea just laid her head on top of Sarika's head and kept her wing around her to comfort her. Anthea started singing a song that their mother used to sing to them when they were still human and young back on earth. She remembered every word of it because it always helped calm her and Sarika down whenever they were sad or hurt and were crying.

Sarika could only smile weakly at this, but it did feel nice. Not too long after, Aldric landed calling, "Sarika! Anthea!"

Anthea looked up and saw Aldric standing there and only looked away from him as tears started to run down her face again. "Why can't you just leave us alone for now Aldric." she said as she sniffed some.

"I'm sorry," he started out, "I'm sorry for what my dad had to say. Sometimes he's too hard on others and he doesn't fare well with these situations."

"Then why didn't you or Talmon try to stop him. He actually hurt Sarika when he called her 'it'." Anthea said.

"If I did, he would've taken it farther," Aldric explained, "But I really did want to help you both out, in fact, I wanted to slash my father right in the face for what he said."

Sarika looked up at Aldric through tear stained ears and they were still running down her face. She sniffed some as she heard Aldric say this.

"You would've done that for us Aldric." Sarika said in a bit of a weak voice.

"Yeah, I would," Aldric replied, walking over to them.

Sarika and Anthea got up off the ground as Aldric walked over to them and Anthea folded her wing back to her body. The two of them stood there when Aldric got up to Sarika and a tear was running down the side of his face as well.

"What are we going to do now Aldric." Sarika asked.

"I don't know, we could leave this place and not come back," Aldric suggested, "I mean, my dad might not miss me anyway, I know how he..."

Aldric soon looked up and saw his parents flying in, he went wide eyed and got a bit angry at the sight of his father.

His mother landed a few feet away from the three of them and folded her wings as she walked over to them. Tears were running down her face as she looked at Aldric and the two dragonesses and smiled weakly. She knew that they were hurting and probably didn't want to talk to her at all. She definitely knew that Aldric didn't want to talk to his father because she could see the anger in his eyes.

"I'd like to apologize for my mate's actions earlier." she said as she looked at Sarika and Anthea.

Nereus landed not too long after that, a look of shock still appeared on his face. He remained silent and caught a glimpse of his son and the two dragonesses, he looked away, still remaining quiet. His son giving a look of contempt towards him.

Sarika only looked at Minali, not really knowing what else to say, she even expected a further explanation as well.

Minali looked at Sarika for what seemed like forever and finally decided to break the silence and tell them her secret. She let out a low sigh as she looked at Anthea and than at Aldric.

"There's something I should tell you. It's a secret that I've been keeping all my life here," she began as she looked over at Aldric. "Not even your father knew it until after the incident earlier Aldric."

"Secret?" Aldric asked, "What secret?"

He looked at his mother, a bit confused and a bit curious.

She sighed heavily at this and hoped that Aldric wouldn't be mad at her.

"You see Aldric, I am also from the human world. I came here years ago and stumbled upon the cave just like Sarika and Anthea here probably did." she said.

"So you used to be human too, then," Aldric replied.

"Yes, and I used to be a male human." she said and looked down at the ground and a small tear fell from her face.

Aldric tilted his head but just walked up to his mother and placed his head under hers and told her, "Aww mom, it's okay, I don't care. You've taken care of me most of your life and watched me grow. Isn't it important that you loved me and I love you as mother and son?"

Minali smiled weakly as this happened and close her eyes as she started to cry happily. She lifted her head some and nuzzled Aldric gently and looked at him.

"Thank you Aldric." she said.

Nereus saw this and lowered his head, he felt horrible, his own love were just like Sarika and Anthea, and rejecting those two made it feel like he was shunning his own mate. He sighed and walked over and looked at his son and the two dragonesses, he then looked at the ground and said softly, "I'm sorry. I'm really, really sorry."

Sarika looked over at Nereus and a tear ran down her face as she heard him say this. She was a bit surprised that Aldric's father was actually apologizing to them for what he said. She walked up to him and looked at him as another tear fell from her face.

"Does this mean that Aldric and I can stay together." she asked.

Nereus looked over at her and nodded, he sighed again and then told them, "I've learned something. I've been with Minali from the first time I met her. And I loved her, even without knowing of her past, and even now I know it, she's still someone I hold near and dear to me. And, well, my son found you as well did my other find your sister. You two seem to have a bond that is much like mine and Minali's, and I like that. I guess I just overreacted this whole time, and not taking in consideration of anyone else's feelings. I'm sorry."

"It's okay." she said and smiled softly and looked over at Aldric.

She walked over to him and nuzzled him gently and was starting to cry happily this time. She was able to be with him now and his father had apologized and realized that he was wrong. She was also glad that she was finally accepted by his father and that his mother knew how she felt and could relate to her and to Anthea in a way.

"Well," Aldric started, "Now that this is over, and I know I'm ending this rather abruptly but, have you considered meeting their parents? Mom? Dad?"

The two of them look over at Aldric and smiled softly at this. Nereus walked over to Minali and she nuzzled him softly. They started talking to each other quietly for a few minutes and Talmon and Kyran soon landed and smiled some when they saw that everything was alright. After talking for a few minutes, their mother and father looked over at Aldric and Sarika.

"We would love to meet them." Minali said.

"Really?" Sarika asked.

"Yes really Sarika. We want our two sons to be happy and they are. But if it means not having your parents here to see this, it just hurts me. Since I never told anyone about my past, I was never able to go back to the human world to say goodbye to my parents and family, and I regretted that ever since." she said.

"Well, if you'd like, we could try to find them," Sarika exclaimed, "Although time there is rather different. Hm, when did you enter that cave?"

Minali looked down at the ground and started thinking about this long and hard. It had been years since she found that cave and entered it back in the human world. The year was a bit fuzzy and it started to come back to her in bits and pieces. She looked back up at Sarika and had a sad expression on her face.

"I believe that it was about 1948 when I found that cave. I was only 16 at the time and I was hiking along the path when I came across it." she said.

Sarika's eyes widened, and she then told Minali, "1948? There now it's 2009, almost 2010!"

Minali went a bit wide eyed when she hears this. She looked down at the ground as a tear fell from her face and she sniffed some. She thought of her parents and her younger brother and sister and how they must've missed them all these years. She knew that her parents were most likely dead and she hoped that her brother and sister were still alive.

"I....I wonder if they're still alive and remember me." she said as another tear fell from her eye.

"Well, what was your name before?" Sarika asked, "There may be someone who goes by that name around there."

"It was Eric. My parents are most likely dead by now. I just hope that my younger brother and sister are still alive." she said as she looked at Sarika sadly.

"Do you remember your last name?" Sarika asked.

"It was Davison." Minali said.

Sarika nodded, "Hm, I think I remember someone by that name around where I lived."

Minali perked up some as she looked at Sarika. "That must be my younger brother or sister. They were twins and were about 6 when I came here." she said.

Sarika nodded and then asked, "Do you remember their names?"

"Yes I do. Their names are Jake and Emily. Those two always got into mischief everywhere we went." she said as she giggled lightly as she remembered those fond memories before she became a dragoness.

Sarika nodded and smiled, "I think I know where they might live. I've even seen them around before as well."

"Really!" Minali said as more tears started to fall from her face. "Do they have familes now?"

"Yes, I believe they're grandparents as well," Sarika informed.

Minali smiles happily at this as more tears fall from her face as she replies, "I'm so happy for them. I just hope that they'll remember me when they see me like this."

"Well, I'm sure, when I went missing I know that my family they were horrified," Sarika replied, "If I didn't come back in a long while, they wouldn't forget about me, I'm sure."

"Thank you Sarika. That means a lot to me." she said.

"No problem," Sarika replied and then asked, "By the way, how old are you?"

"Well, since you said that it's 2009 there now. I'm about 77 years old now." she said.

"Hm, but you seem much younger, like you haven't even reached that age just yet," Sarika replied.

Minali just smiled some at this as she said, "That's because being a dragon somehow affects the aging process. It slows it way down for us so we can live practically forever."

Sarika nodded at this and asked, "So, how old are you as a dragon?"

"Hmmm, I think I'm about 57 or something. It's really hard to tell." she said.

"But, won't we be able to live even after 100?" Sarika asked.

"Yes, we could even live to be over 1000." she said.

Sarika's eyes widened, she was mesmerized and yet upset about this. "I can't imagine leaving the ones I love behind and die, and to stay alive..."

"I know what you mean Sarika. It was hard for me as well and still is." she said and looked at the ground.

Sarika nodded  and then said, "Well, I was discussing with Aldric if we could invite some of my family members to come here."

"Yes, that would probably be a good idea. That way you can have your own family with you so you won't feel lonely." Minali said.

Sarika nodded and smiled, "Well, I guess we should go off then, don't want to keep the future waiting."

"Yes, I agree. I wonder if my brother and sister would like to come here as well so we can be a family again." Minali said and smiled lightly.

"I hope the best for you," Sarika told her.

"Thank you Sarika, now let's go see our families." Minali said as she spread her wings and took to the air with Nereus.

The others followed as well and they soon made it off to the cave, a joyful reunion soon to come.
