The Dragon Crew Part 18

Aaron slowly got up and walked out of the house. He was still worried about Jeff and wondering where he was. He wanted to know how he was doing and figured that it must've been hard for Jeff to deal with the fact that he was used by Karayan and the others to kill two of his friends. He sighed heavily and wanted to know how Jeff was doing and where he went to. He hoped that he was going to be okay and also wondered what Miltiades meant and he was still worried about the pentagram on the ground where he was standing. He didn't know what it meant or why it appeared where he was standing but it increasingly worried him. The only thing he could think of was the arrow that hit him near his heart when he went to save Michael when he died and went to the underworld. He slowly walked over to where the pentagram was burned into the ground and slowly looked at it and then at the diamond in his hand. It still freaked him out as he saw the black vein looking things inside the crystal and hoped that he would be able to get rid of it soon. As he was examining the crystal and the pentagram, a large earthquake hit and he started to lose his balance. Aaron didn't know what to do as he tried to maintain his balance as the ground started to crack slightly. The earthquake ended about a minute later as there were a few fallen trees around the place.

"W-What the heck just happened here," he said worriedly.

The others quickly came outside and started to look around. They gasped when they saw the trees lying all over the place. Aaron sighed a bit and looked at them and noticed that Kelly was wearing some of Rachael's clothes. He walked over to her and hugged her tightly as she hugged back. He was glad that she and his friends were okay but was saddened that Kelly had to be turned into a dragon like the rest of them. Aster was looking down as well as he was saddened also about two of their friends dying and was also hoping that Aaron was going to be okay along with Jeff. Nikki noticed this and gently placed a hand on his shoulder. Even though they were just friends, she did see something in him and was even started to like him as more than a friend. Aster looked at her with teary eyes and wiped them away and tried to look tough and strong.

"It's okay to cry Aster, I'm sure everything will be alright," Nikki said.

"I-I just got something in my eye, that's all," Aster said and sniffed.

Nikki nodded and just hugged him tightly. He was a bit surprised by this and simply hugged her back tightly as well. He didn't know how Nikki knew that he needed a hug but was glad that she was there to help him get through it. After a couple minutes had passed, they all started to clean up the trees as Harry and Russ were only able to do so much like Jeff's parents and Rachael's parents. It took them a while to get everything cleaned up and Aaron smiled weakly when he looked around the place. While he was looking around, he saw a portal open up next to the barn and he went wide eyed when he saw Jozko and Mackenzie run through it as it closed behind them. Everybody else went wide eyed as well and they all ran towards the two of them and helped them up.

"I thought you two were dead," Aaron said as tears were running down his face.

"W-We were dead, but Jeff saved us," Jozko said.

"Yeah, but he was completely different when he opened up the portal to here," Mackenzie said.

"What do you mean," Nikki said.

"He was all black, had four black feathered wings, and was very creepy," Jozko said.

"Yes, and he went by the name of Ferrer, and he wanted us to tell Aaron that he was coming after him next," Mackenzie said.

"That was before he closed the portal to take on the reaper," Jozko said.

Everybody gulped at this as they were starting to get more worried about Jeff now.  Aaron didn't want to try to go back down to the underworld after what happened last time he was there and didn't know what was going to happen if Jeff stayed down there for too long. As they were trying to figure out what to do, another earthquake started up, this one being stronger then the last. Everybody fell to the ground as the whole place looked like it was starting to rip up as the house and pull barn started to creak and groan. Arnon and Alvarie ran out of the forest along with Amethyst and Zeiss in their muzzles. Both of them were terrified by what was going on and were crying as pieces of earth started to be pushed up. Everybody went wide eyed when they saw beams of light come out of the ground practically everywhere and reached up to the sky. They didn't know what was going on and knew that the earthquake was a natural earthquake. It soon ended after about a minute as the pieces of eath that were in the air quickly crashed back down and collapsed in the holes.

"W-What was that," Kelly said shakily as she was helped up by Aaron.

"I don't know Kelly, I really don't know," Aaron said.

"That was most likely Jeff, he must've tapped into the dragon heart crystal and the power that was inside of him at the same time," Arnon said as he and Alvarie placed Amethyst and Zeiss down on the ground.

"But those two powers wouldn't be strong enough to puncture through the barrier of the underworld and earth would it?" Matt asked.

"No it wouldn't, it would have taken a power much stronger to do that," Alvarie said.

"But what power could be stronger than both of those combined," Russ said curiously.

"We honestly don't know Russ," Arnon said.

They were all starting to get a bit more worried about that as they soon saw a bright flash of light. They went wide eyed and started looking around and when they couldn't find anything, they looked up. Jeff's mom practically screamed when they saw Jeff falling through a portal that was up high in the sky. The portal closed as they noticed that Jeff was limp and not moving and went wide eyed when they figured out that he was unconscious. Aaron let his wings out and quickly started to fly up towards Jeff to catch him. He didn't want to lose another friend and was determined not to. He got up to Jeff quickly as Jeff was still falling and gasped when he saw Jeff's body pierced with dozens of arrows and an arrow right in his heart. The arrows looked just like the one that had pierced his chest a few years ago. He quickly grabbed Jeff before he got away from him and slowed down their descent. Aaron landed near the others and they all gasped when they saw all of the arrows piercing Jeff and Jeff's mom started to sob bitterly as his dad held her close to him.

"We need to get Jeff to the hospital immediately," Aaron said as tears started to fill his eyes.

They all nodded as Harry pulled out his cell phone and quickly called 911. After Harry called 911, Jeff started coughing badly as he was coughing up blood. They all started to get extremely worried as they didn't know how much longer he'd be able to hang on with that arrow that had pierced his heart. Aaron was worried as well as he didn't know what to say and his friends didn't know what to say either. They were worried about the arrows sticking out of Jeff because of what had happened to Aaron not too long ago and him ending up evil. The ambulance got to where they were and they quickly came back. The ambulance drivers were taken back by how many arrows were in Jeff and that he was still barely alive with the arrow sticking out of his heart.

"How were arrows able to penetrate his scales, and how did this happen," one paramedic said as they started to put Jeff on the gurney.

"We honestly don't know, he just came out of a portal and he had those arrows sticking out of him," Tina said.

"Well, we have to get him to the hospital stat, with that arrow in his heart, we don't know how much longer he'll live," the one paramedic said as they loaded Jeff into the ambulance.

They had to fix his tail so that he'd be able to fit into the back of the ambulance and the paramedics quickly got into it and started to drive off.

Jeff's mom started to cry hard as his dad quickly lead her to the car and they followed the ambulance to the hospital. Everybody else followed as well as Harry, Russ, and Russell drove there as the others followed them by flying. Aaron was still angry about what happened to Jeff and really wanted to do something about it. They got to the hospital after a while as the ambulance went to the emergency bay and the paramedics rushed Jeff into the hospital as doctors and nurses met them at the entrance. Jeff's parents and the others went in quickly when they parked the car. They watched Jeff be wheeled into the operating area and they sat down in the waiting room. As they were waiting, Aaron started to feel a little light headed as his crystal was starting to pulsate gently. He shook his head as he got a little bit better.

"Aaron, are you okay," Kelly asked.

"Yeah, just a little exhausted is all," Aaron said with a weak smile.

She nodded as they kept waiting for the news on Jeff. Hours passed by as they kept waiting as the doctor that was operating on Jeff finally came out. John and his family had come to the hospital as well when they heard the news about Jeff. He looked exhausted as Jeff's parents quickly got up hoping for some good news.

"We managed to get all of the arrows out of him, even the one in his heart, but he is still in serious condition. Although, the arrow in his heart was different then the other arrows," the doctor said.

"H-How different," Jeff's mom said worriedly.

"It was red tipped while the rest of the arrows were black tipped. It was very odd, and that arrow took us the longest to get out because of where it was," the doctor said.

"B-But is he going to be okay," Jeff's dad asked.

"Yes he will be, he was moved to the intensive care unit for now, when he'll be waking up, we don't know," the doctor said.

Everybody nodded as they got up from where they were sitting. The doctor led them to the next floor where the ICU was. They didn't know where they were going as the doctor led them past the ICU and took them to a different room. They soon saw Tommy, Jason, and Erebus come up to them in wheelchairs and looking slightly better than they were earlier. Some of their bandages were taken off as their bodies were still healing from the fight they had with Jeff. The three of them had heard what had happened to Jeff and that he was in surgery and were worried about him as well, especially Jason.

"T-Tommy, what are you doing here, you need to be resting," Tina said worriedly.

"Tina, please, my cousin is in that room and in serious condition. I have to see him to see if he's alright," Tommy said.

"And he's my brother," Jason said.

"And my brother," Erebus said.

"Fine, but after you three see him, back to your room, and that's an order," the doctor said and opened the door to the room that Jeff was in.

They all slowly walked in and went wide eyed when they saw Jeff lying on the bed all wrapped up in bandages and on life support. He almost looked like a mummy because of the bandages. Jeff's mom started to tear up again as John started to tear up as well. His brother was on life support now because of what happened and he couldn't do anything about it. He was able to get his other brother back and gain a third one, but the one brother he cared for a lot was near death by the looks of it. He thought that Jeff was invulnerable to arrows, but where ever he went to, the arrows were able to pierce his scales like a hot knife through butter. Stacey wasn't able to make it because of where she and her family were and she was trying to get a flight out to where they lived. Aaron sniffed a bit and looked at Jeff's condition and hoped that he would be okay. The doctor quietly walked out of the room to give them some alone time and closed the door. As they were looking at Jeff, he started to glow a bit and they all went wide eyed. They didn't know what was happening as Jeff's dragon heart crystal started to pulsate as well. It was on the desk next to his bed and nobody knew what was happening.

They all stepped back as the crystal started to slowly float in the air and went over to Jeff. Jeff started to groan in pain to what was happening. The crystal started to float over his heart as energy began to flow out of it. It was pure white as what seemed to be pure black energy was starting to come out of where Jeff's heart wound was. Everybody started to get worried as they stepped back as the two energies started to mix together. They watched worriedly as the two energies kept mixing together and started to flow over Jeff's body. His wounds started to slowly heal as he started to groan more. He was feeling pain from the wounds healing and he was wincing. His wounds soon healed completely as his scales started to change color. The scales on half of his body stayed pure white along with the blue scutes on his chest and stomach as the scales on the other half of his body started to turn pitch black. The purple scutes on the other half of his chest started to turn dark purple.

Everybody was really worried about Jeff now as the changes continued as Jeff started to groan more as his wings started to change. Both wings started to grow feathers but they weren't the same color of feathers as each wing was a different color. The feathered wing on the right side was pure white, just like his scales as the feathers on his left side were pure black, just like the scales on his left side. He soon started to grow another pair of wings right below his first pair as they were a bit smaller and had black and white feathers as well. Jeff started coughing a bit as his heart monitor started to beep. The changes that he was enduring was starting to play havoc on him as nurses and doctors quickly rushed into the room. Aaron and the others were quickly moved out of the room as they started to work on Jeff to get his heart rate down and to get him stabilized. Aaron clinched his fists tightly as he started to get a headache and his gem started to slowly pulsate. He couldn't believe what Jeff was going through and was silently blaming Krenif and the ferals for what happened to Jeff.

"Aaron, are you okay?" Tina asked as she looked at him.

"Yes Tina, I'm okay, I think I just need some air," he said and walked off.

Kelly started to get worried about Aaron again along with Aster and his other friends. Aaron quietly got onto the elevator and wished that none of that had happened. He wanted his old body back and not the one he had now. If he hadn't had met Jeff and his friends, maybe none of what happened would had happened. As he was riding down in the elevator by himself, his headache was starting to get a bit worse as he groaned. His gem started to pulsate even more now as he started to hear a voice in his head as he shivered.

"That's right, let the anger take control, soon I will be free," the voice said sinisterly.

"W-Who are you," Aaron said.

"A dragon that has been around for a very long time, and is your worst nightmare," the voice said and laughed evilly.

Aaron went wide eyed as he quickly got out of the elevator when the doors opened. He didn't know what to do as he started to feel pain emanate from his hand and course throughout his body. He felt like roaring out in pain but didn't as he rushed out of the hospital and flew off. He had a hard time staying in the air as the pain started to get worse. He lost control and made a crash landing in a field that he was flying over. Dirt and grass went into the air as he started to cringe in pain from the impact that he made and started to roar out in pain. Black electricity started to electrocute him as it was coming from his gem as it was glowing brighter. Aaron started to hear the same sinister laugh again as his body started to change. His scales started to get even blacker as they became jet black in color as red ruins started to appear all over his body. His clothes were soon burned off from the black lightning that was electrocuting him as his scutes on his chest and stomach started to change to a dull yellowish gold color. His scales started to become even darker then before and became jet black in color.

He roared out loudly in pain as spikes started to grow out from his back as there were three rows as blood was dripping from where the spikes grew. He fell onto his hands and knees as glowing red symbols started to appear all over his body as he started to feel even more and more pain from his back. He growled lowly as two more wings burst out from his back as blood dripped from them as well as all four wings started to grow a bit in size. His neck started to hurt as he felt it starting to grow in length and pop and crack. He roared in pain again as he fell onto his stomach as he started to grow in size. He soon became 16.6 feet tall as his head started to hurt, especially around his eyes. He gripped his head as he started to grow a second pair of eyes as his front eyes were a dull yellow with blood red slits as his back eyes were pitch black with dull yellow pupils. Fire soon appeared over both of his back his and formed leather patches over them as straps appeared around his ears. He soon started to grow dull yellow spikes on his arms as they grew downward as he started to grow horns out of the back of his head. Four horns grew out as the lower ones split and pointed in every direction as chains started to appear around his wings as his wings started to look torn as the chains went through the holes. They clasped together as his wings folded against his body as he breathed heavily.

He grabbed his head again as he started to feel something push its way into his mind. He let out a scream of pain and passed out as whatever was entering his mind took over. He started to breathe slowly as Kelly quickly ran out of the hospital towards him. She gasped when she saw him as he slowly started to get up and opened up his eyes.

"A-Aaron, what happened to you," she asked.

"I'm not Aaron, my name is Zelophehad," he said with a sinister grin.

Kelly gaspe and stepped back as Zelophehad spread all four of his wings and took off. He had one purpose and one purpose only, look for his brother and destroy him and spread death and destruction. The first place he would go would be the feral clan that Karayan lead along with Shyama and Krenif. He flew for a little while and soon got to the mountain range where they were and landed at the entrance of the cave. He grinned as there were a few ferals there and they backed up growling. Zelophehad roared at them and they quickly scampered back into the cave. A few minutes later Krenif, Shyama, and Karayan came out of the cave.

"Who daressss threaten my clan," Karayan said.

"I dare," Zelophehad said with an evil grin.

The three of them went wide eyed when they saw him. They had never seen a dragon like him in their lives and stepped back in fear. Rachael and the others came out and went wide eyed as well as Zelophehad looked at them and grinned even more.

"Well, well, well. It looks like I see that you four are still here. Is it still Rachael, or are you going by Zarthia now," he said as she went wide eyed.

He held up his hand grinning as she was forcefully and suddenly dragged to it. She struggled as she was in his grasp now and he looked at her sinisterly. He knew that he could do anything to her and started to think. He finally got an idea and held up a claw from his other hand and put it on her forehead. She stopped squirming and stared at him with pure fear in her eyes as Karayan and the others backed up from him.

"Let's get rid of that little part of you that isn't feral," he said.

His claw started to glow in red light as she let out a loud and painful roar as she felt pain coursing through her very body and mind. She had never felt any pain like that before and wanted it to stop. She felt like she was on the brink of death as she felt her mind being split in half while her body was being split in a thousand different directions. She was soon engulfed in bright light as he let go of her and she fell to the ground in pain. She was breathing heavily as the pain started to subside along with the light. All the ferals went wide eyed as they saw two dragonesses laying on the ground in front of Zelophehad as he was chuckling. Both of them were still pink in color but one was a darker shade of pink with red breastplates while the other was just pink in color.

"Whoops, my mistake, looks like Rachael has her body back and has a twin sister now," he said and looked at the others.

They were watching in terror as Shyama and Karayan couldn't believe that Zelophehad had separated Rachael from her feral instincts. They didn't want the same thing to happen to them as they backed up and growled lowly at him. Zelophehad slowly started to walk towards them and looked at each one. He could sense the darkness in each of their hearts and chuckled lightly. He soon looked at Aristomache and Opiuchus and raised an eye ridge. He saw the same kind of thing in them that he saw in Zarthia before he separated the two. He grinned widely and snapped his fingers as rock like vines came out of the ground around the two of them and started to wrap around them. They both went wide eyed and tried their best to get free as Anargyros tried to help them. Zelophehad frowned at that as he waved his hand and Anargyros was sent flying back into the cave. Zelophehad smirked at that as he did a little something to Anargyros as something like a shadow form came out of him as he landed on the ground with a thud. The shadow image went straight towards Zelophehad and was turned into an orb.

"You won't be needing that darkness in your heart anymore, or that feral part," he said as he put the orb on his diamond as it was absorbed.

Karayan along with Shyama and Krenif went wide eyed at what just happened as Zelophehad dragged Opiuchus and Aristomache out to him. They were still struggling to get free as he touched both of their foreheads. They both just froze and went wide eyed as they started to glow. They soon roared in pain as the same thing happened to them as it did with Rachael and Zarthia. After the light faded, both of them were lying on the ground as Opiuchus was now a very dark shade of brown as Aristomache's colors were reversed as he scales were navy blue and her scutes were silver. Paul and Kim were both lying down next to them as they had their original colors that they got when they were turned into dragons. He grinned even more as shadow images of Opiuchus, Aristomache, and Zarthia came off of them and turned into orbs. The three orbs flowed right into his diamond and he grinned as he felt his power returning to him more and making him stronger than ever.

"Now for just you three and I will be more powerful then my brother for I can sense great darkness in the three of you," he said and pointed to Krenif, Karayan, and Shyama.

The three of them were growling lowly as they were watching the whole scene from the entrance of the cave. He slowly started to walk towards them when the ground started to shake and jagged rocks shot up out of the ground and separated Zelophehad from the others. He growled lowly in anger and looked around to see who would do such a thing and soon saw Matt, Katie, Jake, and Amber land down in front of him growling lowly. He shook his head and chuckled lightly as they stood their ground.

"Is this what my brother has sent to stop my reign of terror, four pathetic dragontaurs that can only control the elements? I can control anything I want, you are nothing but weaklings compared to me," he said.

"Aaron, snap out of this and stop what you're doing," Katie said.

"Yes, Kelly and your friends are all worried about you," Amber said.

"Don't ever compare me to that weakling, he is no longer here but trapped in my gem along with the other dragon spirits that are giving me my strength," he roared out as the whole mountain shook.

"He's right, we're no match for him, but we have to stop him somehow," Matt said.

"But what Matt, I don't have any ideas," Jake said.

"I propossssse that we work together to fight thissss monsssster," Karayan said as he, Shyama, and Krenif walked around the blockade.

"I hate to admit it, but we don't have much of a choice but team up with them," Amber said.

They all nodded as Zelophehad grinned widely. He started walking towards them and was soon hit by multiple fire balls. He roared out in surprise as the fireballs were coming from the sky. He looked up and growled as smoke was coming off of his chest as there were a bunch of ferals circling overhead and getting ready for another attack. He let out a loud roar of anger and soon inhaled deeply. He let out a large stream of black fire and brimstone by the looks of it as the ferals quickly broke their circling and flew off.

"Cowards!" Krenif shouted at them and growled lowly.

"So much for those ferals, now what to do about you all; and I know you four aren't the only ones. Let me guess, Tina's back at the hospital staying with Tommy, Jason, Erebus, and Jeff. And Aaron's friends are there as well," Zelophehad said with a grin.

Matt and the others gulped as they backed up some as he started to walk towards them. He lifted his hand as Karayan and Shyama soon started to float in the air as they both went wide eyed. They started to squirm, trying to get free as they floated over towards Zelophehad as he grinned evilly. He gripped their throats as they started to chook in his grasp. The diamond started to glow as they stopped struggling and went limp. They were still breathing as silhouettes of themselves separated from them and went right into his diamond. He breathed in deeply as the energy from the two of them gave him more power and strength as his muscles started to grow. He dropped the two of them and looked at Krenif as she started to back up scared out of her mind. Matt and Jake quickly got in between the two of them as Katie and Amber ran over to Rachael and the others when they saw them.

"Get out of my way," he said and waved his hand.

Matt and Jake went wide eyed as they were thrown a few feet to the side and landed on the ground with a thud. They both groaned as Zelophehad grabbed Krenif by the neck and lifted her up off the ground. She growled and coughed as she struggled against his grip and breathed fire at him. She gasped when she saw that nothing happened to him as she continued to struggle against him. The diamond glowed and she let out a loud roar of pain when she felt her very soul being ripped in two. She went limp as everybody gasped as streams of black energy came out of her and went into the diamond. When it was over, he dropped her and let out a loud roar as the energy flowed through him as his muscles increased in size massively. He breathed heavily and looked at them grinning. He started to walk towards Amber and Katie. As he got to them, he felt something hit him on the side of the head as he roared in pain and stopped where he was. He growled and looked around as he saw Tommy, Erebus, and Jason land in front of him breathing a bit heavily.

"Tommy, Erebus, Jason, what are you three doing here," Katie said surprised.

"Jeff helped us, he somehow woke up and was healed instantly by his dragon heart crystal and he did the same for the three of us," Erebus said with a smile.

"That's good, and this monster was somehow able to separate Rachael, Paul, and Kim from their feral sides, but made their feral sides real," Amber said.

"You mean like what Jeff did with Erebus," Tommy said wide eyed and looked at them.

They both nodded as Matt and Jake slowly got up and walked over to them as Jeff landed behind Zelophehad. He turned around and looked at Jeff and growled lowly in anger. Zelophehad could sense the presence of his brother inside Jeff and it was powerful, but not as strong as he was now. He smirked and slowly started to walk towards Jeff as a sword started to appear out of thin air in his hands. The sword looked extremely deadly as it was as black as it could be and decorated with strange symbols. Matt, Jake, Amber, and Katie were all wide eyed when they saw Jeff and saw that he was completely healed.

"I know my brother is in you dragon, let him out so I can face him in combat and defeat him," he said and pointed his sword at Jeff.

"If you say so, your brother has been eager to see you," Jeff said.

Jeff closed his eyes as he started to glow. Both his pendant and the dragon heart crystal started to glow as well as energy started to flow out of them and swirl around Jeff. Zelophehad growled lowly and watched as Jeff started to glow brightly. His scales started to turn silver in color and it started to cover his entire body and the tips of the scales were rimmed with dark blue. Spikes started to grow out of his neck and went down his back as there were soon three rows of spikes. One row was dark blue, the other row was silver, and the row in the middle was a combination of the two. He growled a bit in pain as a sharp tail blade started to grow out at the tip of his tail. His wings started to change as feathers started to grow out of the membrane and the arms. Jeff let out a loud roar as a second pair of wings started to grow out of his back. The feathers looked like they were silver in color and the tips were dark blue. The wings also looked like they were shimmering brightly as they started to grow in size. They soon stopped as they were practically the length of football fields and the feathers were big as well. Patterns started to form on the wings and the patterns soon started to look like eyes. Gold braces appeared on his wings as his wings folded up against his body.

The fur on his head and neck started to change color from blue to sparkling silver. Jeff growled a bit more as his neck started to lengthen more and the fur went down his long neck. His horns started to lengthen and started to change color. One became silver in color and the other was dark blue in color. His scutes started to glow and change as they fused together to form breastplates as they become bright silver in color as well. Spikes started to grow out on his arms and legs and they were a mix between blue and silver. He closed his eyes as they started to sting as the iris of both eyes started to change. Instead of being slit like regular dragon eyes, they were in the shape of a cross. The colors of his eyes started to change as they became light blue in color and light purple started to outline them. He started to grow in size as the bandages ripped apart and fell to the ground. He grew to become 15'5" tall as a cloth like jacket that was as long as his body and was sleeveless appeared on him. It was pure white in color as a spot on his chest started to glow. Some of his breastplates started to change color to a dark blue as it looked like a cross on his chest as he soon became as muscular as Zelophehad.

The glow around Jeff started to fade away as Jeff felt a presence in his head and let it take over. Jeff saw all the memories of Zelophehad's brother and what had happened up to the time of the flood and started to feel sorry for Zelophehad. Jeff soon felt the presence take over completely as he found out what the name of the dragon was and smiled softly as he felt comforted by what the dragon said about making sure that Aaron would be safe. The dragon opened his eyes as the glow faded away from him. Zelophehad growled lowly as the others gasped when they saw the dragon. Rachael, Paul, and Kim started to slowly wake up and groan a bit and looked around. The memories of what happened soon came to them as they went wide eyed and started to get worried.

"W-Where's Jeff," Rachael asked worriedly.

"Don't worry Rachael, he's safe," Matt said and helped her up.

She nodded slowly as Paul and Kim got up slowly and saw their doubles. They started to feel sorry for the three of them and felt close to them as well. Rachael crawled over to Zarthia and gently helped her sit up as she started to come to. Zarthia looked around and focused on Rachael as Rachael started to tear up. Zarthia started to tear up as well and they both hugged each other tightly. Zarthia wasn't a feral anymore as she felt a close bond to Rachael and felt like they were sisters. The same went for the others as Adam started to wake up. The same was for him and his feral side as he started to feel sorry for what had happened.

"You are going to pay for what you did brother," the one dragon said.

"Not if I kill you first, Photios," he said.

Photios shook his head and looked down as he knew why his brother was so full of darkness. He had to find a way to break it as he felt his connection with the reaper break. The only thing he could think of was to try to take all of the darkness that was inside of his brother's heart out and destroy it. The only problem was though was that all of that darkness was connected to hell itself so it was going to be hard to destroy it. Photios closed his eyes and started to concentrate as Zelophehad roared out loudly and charged at him. Photios quickly opened up his eyes and started to glow brightly as he got into a fighting position. Zelophehad kept charging at Photios and raised his claws to slash at him as Photios quickly grabbed Zelophehad's wrist and quickly did a move that led to where he flipped him into the air and onto the ground with a very loud crash. Zelophehad skidded some as he stopped an inch from the ledge as he groaned loudly. He slowly righted himself and started to growl again as he looked at Photios.

"That was a very cheap move brother," he said.

"I am sorry brother, but this has to be done," Photios said as he suddenly stabbed Zelophehad through the heart with his sword.

Zelophehad gasped at the sudden stabbing as the sword started to glow brightly. He coughed up a bit of blood as he couldn't believe that his own brother would go to such lengths to stop him by stabbing him. He suddenly started to feel himself being ripped in two as he roared out loudly in pain as Photios's sword started to take all of the darkness that was in his heart and tear it out of him. Photios closed his eyes as a tear ran down his face as he knew his brother was in a great deal of pain. With one pull, Photios yanked his sword out of Zelophehad as a ball of pure darkness came out with the sword. Zelophehad roared out loudly and fell to his knees as he was clutching his heart. The darkness in his heart was finally gone but he was still a demon dragon and connected to hell. He breathed heavily as he was looking down at the ground and Photios was still teary eyed.

Photios looked at the orb of darkness and slashed at it with his sword as it was cut in half and become completely destroyed as white fire engulfed it. Photios looked at Zelophehad as he started to slowly get up and removed his hands from over his heart. His wound was already healed as there was a scar over where the sword had stabbed him and tears were running down his face. He lifted his head and looked at Photios as his eyes were different somehow. Photios smiled as he finally had his older brother back after so many years of being separated.

"I'm back brother, thanks for saving me from the darkness," he said.

Photios nodded and quickly hugged Zelophehad tightly. They were both glad to finally be reunited with each other, but the problem now was how to get Aaron and Jeff back to their friends and how to deal with the devil when he found out about what happened. After they stopped hugging, they looked over at Rachael and the others as they were staring at them wide eyed and a bit full of fear. Photios sighed a bit as he knew that he and his brother had to bring Jeff and Aaron back somehow and looked at Zelophehad. Before he could say anything, the sky started to darken very fast. Zelophehad went wide eyed along with the others as he knew what was going on.

"What's going on now," Zarthia said as she was helped up by Rachael.

"I don't know," Paul said.

"I know what's going on, you all need to get out of here now," Zelophehad said.

"Why," Matt said.

"This is the work of the devil himself, he is coming for my brother," Photios said.

They all went wide eyed as they started to get up to leave. Before they could leave though, a figure appeared in front of them suddenly as he was wearing a business suit of some sort and they stopped where they were. It was a man by the looks of it and he didn't look too happy as they backed up.

"You lot may leave, my quarrel isn't with you, yet," he said.

"What do you want now, satan," Photios said.

"I came for what is rightfully mine, your brother," he said.

"I no longer belong to you, I am free thanks to my brother," Zelophehad said with a growl.

Matt and the others gulped and quickly started flying away from the scene as the rest of the feral clan that was there hid deep in the cave system. Rachael looked back at the cliff as a tear ran down her cheek as she looked at Photios. She had finally been rescued from the darkness that had taken over her but at what cost. Jeff was now gone as Photios had taken control of his body and she couldn't bear to lose the only one that head cared for her so much to go to such lengths to save her, even have himself killed just to see that she got back home safely. After they were out of sight, Photios and Zelophehad looked back at the devil as he was still standing there.

"Now make this easy Zelophehad, come back with me now and I won't punish you for the foolishness that you have done," the devil said.

"I will never come back there, you don't control me anymore," he said and growled even more.

"Then you leave me no choice, I'll have to take you by force along with your brother here. He'd make a fine trophy for me on my wall," the devil said.

He snapped his fingers and just as quickly as he had arrived there, all three of them were suddenly in hell outside of the devil's mansion. Both Zelophehad and Photios growled lowly at him as he started to chuckle. He knew that both of them had the power to kill him, but he wasn't going to give them the chance to do it as he started to change. Zelophehad and Photios stepped back in defense as the devil started to get covered in pure jet black scales. The scales started to cover his hands as his nails started to turn blood red and harden. They moved to the tips of his fingers and became blood red claws as blood red paw pads grew on the bottom of his hands. His hands started to pop and shift as a finger on each hand disappeared and his remaining fingers started to turn into toes. His hand shifted into paws as his claws became sharper. The scales started to spread up his arms as he grinned widely and Zelophehad and Photios were watching in disbelief. The scales got to his shoulders and started to spread down his back and sides as jet black breast plates started to grow on his chest.

He grinned widely as his clothes started to rip apart as his muscles started to grow in mass and size. Photios and Zelophehad stepped back as they watched him continue to change. He growled a bit in pain as a long black scaled tail grew out of his backside. It had a long blood red tail blade on the tip of it as it kept growing out. He got down on all fours as his legs shifted and popped as they turned into hind legs. His clothes ripped off completely as his shoes were torn to shreds as his feet started to turn. He lost a toe on each foot as his remaining toes turned into blood red claws. His feet popped and shifted into digitgrade paws as blood red paw pads appeared on the bottom of them. The scales started to grow up his neck as his hair started to turn into blood red fur. He growled deeply as his neck started to pop and lengthen as his fur grew down his neck into a mane. His neck became about 8 feet long as his nose fused with his upper jaw. His face pushed out into a muzzle as two nostrils appeared on the end of it as his teeth became razor sharp and his tongue lengthened and became forked to fit his mouth. His eyes moved to the sides of his head as they became slit and reptilian in style. They also became blood red in color as a red scare went over his left eye. He snarled as his ears moved to the top of his head some and became finned shape and lengthened. He started to grow in size as a pair of wings sprouted out of his back as the membrane was dark black as well.

The tips of the membrane were all torn up as there were blood red markings all over them. Blood red spikes started to grow down his back as he grew two more tails as they had tail spikes as well. Photios and Zelophehad were wide eyed as the devil was now a hell dragon and massive. He was about 160 feet in length and practically 50 feet tall. He let out an extremely loud roar as he grew a pair of pitch black horns that looked darker then hell itself. They stopped growing as they were slightly curved and about a foot long each. Photios and Zelophehad backed up and got their swords ready as Satan started laughing evilly.

"Well brother, it looks like we got ourselves into another fine mess," Zelophehad said.

"It seems that way, but on the bright side, we're fighting side by side now instead of against each other," Photios said.

"Now you two will die by my hand," Satan said with a growl.

They both growled back as the devil roared out extremely loudly which shook all of hell. He soon charged at the two of them as they quickly dodged him. They both slashed at his forelegs as he roared out in pain. Blood started to come out of the slashes as they weren't able to cut him deep enough to cause any major damage. They both growled and jumped back as the devil quickly turned around and swiped at them with his three tails. Zelophehad managed to jump out of the way just in time as Photios got hit by the tails at full force. He was sent flying into the air as he coughed up some blood from the impact. The devil grinned and quickly inhaled deeply and breathed a stream of pure black fire at Photios. Before Photios or Zelophehad could react, Photios got hit with the full impact of the attack and roared out loudly in pain.

He landed a few hundred feet away all burned and charred as he skidded on the ground some. He started coughing up blood as Zelophehad rushed to Photios's side. The devil started to laugh loudly as Zelophehad growled lowly. He had to do something to help his brother as he was in extreme pain from the fire and being hit by the tails. He put his hand on Photios's arm and closed his eyes and started to concentrate. Zelophehad growled a bit in pain as he started to take on the pain that Photios was feeling as Photios started to heal. Satan growled lowly at the two of them as Photios quickly healed and slowly got up.

"We've got to find a way to defeat him," Photios said while panting.

"I know, he's just too powerful," Zelophehad said with a growl.

Photios nodded as he regained his strength and slowly got up as the devil was starting to make his way towards the two of them. Zelophehad started to think of what to do as he soon got an idea of how to defeat him once and for all. He soon came up with an idea and got up as Photios looked at him.

"I'm sorry for how I acted towards you brother, let this be my final atonement," he said and spread his wings and took off flying.

"Brother no, it's suicide," Photios yelled and fell to one knee as he wasn't at full strength yet.

Zelophehad nodded as he knew what he was doing as he flew towards the devil. The devil grinned a bit evilly as he went to swipe at Zelophehad with his claws. Zelophehad dodged the attack and started to glow brightly as energy started to surge around him. The energy seemed pure red in color as he started to collect the negative energy from hell to help make him strong enough for what he had in mind. He flew high about Satan as he collected enough energy and started to concentrate it around him. Satan looked up at him and growled in annoyance as he inhaled and breathed dark fireballs at him. Zelophehad started to dodge the fireballs as the devil kept breathing them at him.

"Just what are you up to Zelophehad, you are mine and mine alone, you will pay for your treachery," he said.

"And you will pay for manipulating me into trying to kill my brother," Zelophehad said.

He growled as the energy that he had collected started to swirl around him and he started to dive bomb towards the devil. The devil growled and quickly breathed a stream of hell fire at Zelophehad. The stream of fire hit him at full force and almost sent him flying backwards as a few small shockwaves went everywhere. He growled and kept on going towards the devil slowly as he started to push the stream of fire back. The devil growled as his concentration finally broke as Zelophehad broke through the stream of fire. He went towards him at a high speed and collided with him so hard that it caused an explosion so great that it sent shock waves everywhere as the whole place started to shake. The explosion was greater than the one that Jeff caused earlier as the ground started to break up and pieces started to fly everywhere. Photios tried his best to hold his ground as the shockwaves hit him and started to push him back. He couldn't believe the extent of the energy that Zelophehad had unleashed against the devil. It was almost the equal force of 4 mega ton nuclear warheads going off at the same time.

The force of the explosion finally died down after a few minutes as Photios opened his eyes. He went completely wide eyed as he was looking at a crater that was practically 2 miles wide and almost 2 miles deep. He shook his head and picked up his sword as he knew that the devil would be weakened enough for him to deliver the finishing blow. He quickly started flying down towards the center of the crater. He heard low growling coming from the crater as he saw the devil slowly getting up out from under some boulders that were on him as he was bleeding from almost everywhere. Scales were either missing from his body, hanging from his body, or cracked as Photios knew that he was weakened. He couldn't find his brother anywhere as he started to send some of his energy into his sword and gripped it tightly. He let out a loud roar and charged at the devil. The devil groaned and was unable to defend himself as Photios quickly stabbed him in the heart with all of his strength. The devil roared out loudly in pain as he felt the sword pierce his heart as dark energy started to come out of him from all over his body.

Photios pulled his sword out and quickly jumped back as all of hell started to shake and shudder along with the devil. He watched as the devil collapsed and started to fade away into nothing as he was finally dead. He soon realized that his brother was still missing and started looking for him. He soon found Zelophehad laying on the ground nearby. He quickly rushed over to him and saw that he was badly wounded and breathing heavily. Photios knelt down next to him and gently helped him up.

"We did it brother, we finally defeated him," Photios said.

"Yes we did, but I don't know how much longer I am for this world, I'm connected to hell still, and hell was connected to him, if he dies, so does hell and me," he said and kept on breathing heavily.

"No, you can't die Zelophehad, we are finally reunited," Photios said as tears started to fill his eyes.

Hell started to break up as Photios picked up Zelophehad in his arms and opened up a portal. He knew that what his brother said was true and wanted to spend his last few minutes they had left with each other together. They both went through the portal and found themselves in Jeff's back yard as there was nobody around. He gently laid his brother on the ground as hell disappeared fully and Photios smiled softly. He was finally reunited with his brother but he didn't know for how long. He started to glow as he knew it was time for him to return to heaven and give Jeff his body and his life back as he looked at Zelophehad. He smiled as he soon saw that he was glowing as well. Pretty soon Rachael and the others landed in Jeff's back yard and saw both Jeff and Aaron lying on the ground unconscious and they all went wide eyed.

"Jeff!" Rachael shouted and quickly ran over to him.

Kelly quickly ran over to Aaron as well as Aaron was back to his gold form and they both groaned lightly. They sat up rubbing their heads as Rachael and Kelly hugged them both tightly. They both went wide eyed and hugged back just as tightly. Aaron's friends soon came running out and stopped when they saw Aaron was back to normal and smiled happily. He smiled as well and looked at him as they quickly made their way over to them. Jeff was smiling happily as he was finally able to get Rachael back safe and sound as the others started to hug him and Aaron. Pretty soon, he was glomped by Zeiss and Amethyst as he let out a small yelp. Everybody started laughing as the two of them snuggled into Jeff happily and were wagging their tails as tears were running down their muzzles.

"It looks like these two missed you Jeff, welcome home," Alvarie said.

"Yeah, and thank you for bringing back my brother and aunt," Arnon said as they came out of the woods.

"It was nothing," Jeff said and hugged Zeiss and Amethyst happily.

As they were talking, two bright lights appeared in front of them. They all covered their eyes and soon looked and saw that it was Photios and Zelophehad floating in front of them. They went wide eyed as Zelophehad was different now, he was no longer a demon like dragon as his scales were bright orange in color with bright blue breast plates. He was also smiling softly as Photios was smiling as well.

"Thank you for helping us be reunited, and helping me free my brother," Photios said.

"You're welcome, but what happened to the souls that were in the power crystal and the dragon heart crystal," Aaron said curiously.

"Oh, they were all given a second chance and are going to be reborn, as for the dragons that were in the pendants, they have been given their lives back," Zelophehad said with a smile.

Arnon, Karayan, and Alvarie went wide eyed as they saw their parents come out of the woods along with the other dragons that were in the pendants. They all started to tear up and went over to them and nuzzled them happily. Krenif lowered her head as she didn't know if her two brothers would accept her back after what she did all those years ago. She soon felt someone put a hand on her shoulder and she looked up and saw that it was Zelophehad smiling.

"If my brother could forgive me for what I did, so can your brothers," he said with a soft smile.

She nodded and slowly made her way over as Amethyst and Zeiss were running around them giggling happily. Her two brothers looked at her and smiled as she was starting to tear up. She started to break down crying happily as she was finally reunited with her family as her two brothers started to nuzzle her happily. Jeff and the others smiled happily and watched the scene as his parents soon came out. He smiled and looked at them as they quickly ran to him and hugged him tightly and were tearing up. He hugged them as gently as possible as Rachael's parents and the parents of the others came out. After a while, they all looked at Photios and Zelophehad as they were both smiling as well.

"What are you two going to do now," Jeff said.

"We will both return to heaven. Our time on earth has passed," Photios said.

"But we will be here for you all when you need our help," Zelophehad.

They nodded as the two of them disappeared in a flash of light as a rainbow soon appeared in the sky above them.  They all smiled happily at that as they started to say goodbye to Aaron and his friends as they were getting ready to head back to their homes down in Ohio. They promised to stay in touch as much as possible and try to have as many adventures with each other when they were able to. Aaron opened up a portal as his friends and brother started to go through it. They all waved goodbye to Jeff and the others as Aaron finally went through the portal and closed it. Jeff smiled and started to relax and talk with the others as they hoped to go on another adventure soon, but for now that would be for another time.
