The Dragon Crew Part 4

The alarm clock started buzzing when Jeff moved around and hit the snooze button on the clock. He slowly sat up and yawned as he looked at the clock to see what time it was. He soon snapped out of his half sleeping trance as he hopped out of bed and started to change into his joggin clothes to go jogging with Tommy and Paul. It was the middle of the summer and had been seven years since his summer vacation when Rachael and he changed. It was 6:00 in the morning and he usually went jogging every morning to stay in shape. He was now about 6'6" and was built. He looked into his mirror as he remembered how his and Rachael's lives changed that very summer when they met Arnon and Alvarie. They were staying in the small forest in Jeff's back yard that also had a pond and a barn in it. They lived on an eight acre piece of land that his parents had bought that summer also. The barn had his car and motorcycles in it so he could work on them. The car that he had was a 1960 convertible mustang and he got it for his birthday earlier that year. He then walked over to his closet and opened it as he looked at a small safe that had the stones that Arnon and Alvarie had given him to protect. He also remembered the day that he asked Arnon to put the six stones into six pendats a few weeks later. After he closed his closet he looked back over at his dresser and looked at two pictures there. One was of Jeff, Rachael, and Tommy after the two of them had transformed and the other one was of the three of them with Arnon and Alvarie. He was smiling as he looked at those pictures as they were bringing back fond memories. He was soon snapped out of his trance when his cell phone started to ring. He went over and answered it.

"Hey Jeff, you coming down or not," Tommy said over the cell phone.

"Yeah, I'll be down there in just a second," Jeff said as he hung up his cell phone.

As he was leaving his bedroom, he grabbed his sunglasses and mp3 player from his dresser and went downstairs. He made sure that he didn't wake his parents up when he walked past their bedroom. After he filled his water bottle up he quickly put his shoes on and went outside to meet Paul and Tommy.

"What took you so long," Paul said as he got out of his car.

"Sorry about that, I had a dream of when we met Arnon and Alvarie," Jeff said.

"It seems like it was just yesterday that we met them," Tommy said as he laughed softly.

"Yeah it does," Jeff said.

"How are they doing anyway," Paul asked.

"They're doing just fine, I was thinking of going to see them later this morning after we jogged," Jeff said.

"Can we come see them also," Tommy chimed in.

"Sure, they've been asking to see you guys also, they have a surprise to show you two," Jeff said.

"What's that?" Tommy asked.

"Sorry, they made me promise not to tell," Jeff said.

"Have you heard from Rachael lately?" Paul said.

"I just got an email from her a couple days ago," Jeff said.

"How is she doing," Tommy said.

"She's doing fine, she said that her dad just retired from the military and they're moving again," Jeff said.

"Where to this time," Paul asked.

"She didn't know, all she said that her parents were going to be moving by some old friends and they're sending her to stay with them, just until they get there with all of their things," Jeff said.

"What about her condition," Tommy said worried.

"She said that they already know about it," Jeff said.

"Well are we going to start jogging or not," Paul said.

They said okay and started jogging down the road. Jeff put his headset on and turned his mp3 player on. Tommy and Paul had brought their own mp3 players as well and turned them on. They usually ran for a couple hours every morning and during school, they would run on the weekends. As they were running, they passed by a house that had a for sale sign up with a sold sign on it. They asked Jeff about it and he told them that the family that lived there just moved a couple days ago and he didn't know when the other family will be getting there. They asked if he thought that it might be Rachael and her family that was moving there and Jeff just said that he didn't give it much thought. They just shrugged and went back to jogging. While they were jogging, they came up to a small bridge that went over a creek and Jeff decided to run on the railing this time. The bridge was made of wood and was very sturdy and the railings were about six inches thick. Jeff just jumped up on the railing on the right and just ran across it. He was smiling the whole time as Paul and Tommy just ran across the middle part of the bridge. When they came over to the other side, Jeff did a flip and landed on his feet and joined back up with Tommy and Paul. They both just clapped at the sight and slapped Jeff's back when he joined back up with them. After jogging for about an hour, they decided to turn around and head back to Jeff's home.

When they got back to Jeff's house, they went into the woods behind his house to go see Arnon and Alvarie. Jeff had to show Paul and Tommy the way. They just walked through the woods and Jeff told them to be careful where they walked. Paul asked why and found out the hard way when a branch smacked him right in the face. Tommy laughed when this happened, but before long he walked right into a tree and fell backwards. This time both Jeff and Paul laughed as Tommy got up and said very funny as he brushed himself off. They soon got to a cave where Arnon and Alvarie were staying.

"Are you sure this is the right cave," Tommy asked.

"Yes I am, I just saw them a few days ago, now just wait right here for a second," Jeff said as he walked into the cave.

"Okay," Paul said.

A few minutes passed by before Jeff yelled something and a large flame came out of the cave. Tommy and Paul jumped out of the way just in time. When they got back up, they heard Jeff laughing.

"Very funny Jeff," Paul said.

"You could have fried us," Tommy said.

"Oh that wasn't me," Jeff said.

"If it wasn't you, than who was it," Tommy said.

"Sorry about almost hitting you," Arnon said as he and Alvarie came out of the cave.

"What happened," Paul said.

"Jeff accidentally stepped on Arnon's tail when he came in to get us," Alvarie said.

"I said I was sorry," Jeff said as he shot his hands up in defense.

"I guess we both need to be careful next time," Arnon said as he brought his tail up to his mouth and blew on it.

"That explains why Jeff yelled and a torrent of flame came out of the cave," Tommy said as he and Paul playfully punched Jeff's arm.

As soon as they did this, two figures came running out of the cave and tackled Paul and Tommy. They both hit the ground with a groan and were wondering what hit them. They looked up and saw two small dragons looking straight at them with their fangs showing. One dragon was a light blue color with a dark blue underbelly and the other one was a bluish purple color. They were both worried at the sight of this and closed their eyes. The next thing they knew, the were being licked by the dragons and they started laughing. Jeff was laughing at the whole sight while Arnon and Alvarie were just smiling.

"Amethyst, Zeiss, get off of them," Arnon said.

"Okay dad," they both said.

"Dad?" Tommy said as he and Paul got up off the ground.

"Yep, these two are our son and daughter," Alvarie said.

"So this was the surprise," Paul said.

"Yes it was, these two were born just two weeks ago," Jeff said as Amethyst and Zeiss came over to him.

"Are you okay, Uncle Jeff," Amethyst asked.

"I'm okay Amethyst, they were just playing," Jeff said as he took his sunglasses off and pat her and Zeiss on the head.

"Uncle Jeff?" Paul said with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah, I've been here practically everyday watching these two while Arnon and Alvarie go hunting and they just started calling me Uncle Jeff," Jeff said and laughed softly.

"Do your parents, brother, and sister know about them," Tommy said.

"My parents do, heck they even let these two come into the house when their parents go hunting. My brother and sister on the other hand don't know yet," Jeff said smiling.

"How come?" Tommy said.

"They've been too busy with their families to come by. Stacey has three kids and John already has a two year old," Jeff said.

"That's right, when are you going to tell them," Paul said.

"Soon," Jeff said.

"I take it that these two call your parents grandpa and grandma," Paul said smiling as he pointed to Amethyst and Zeiss.

"They do," Jeff said and laughed some.

"Who are these two, Uncle Jeff?" Zeiss asked as he looked over at Paul and Tommy.

"This is my cousin Tommy and my best friend Paul," Jeff said.

They just started talking some and walked back to Jeff's house. Arnon, Alvarie, Amethyst, and Zeiss followed them back as they were still talking. Arnon and Alvarie asked where Kim was and Paul said that she had a small summer cold. Amethyst and Zeiss were asking Tommy and Paul all sorts of questions and they just answered them as best they could. While they were walking, Jeff's phone rang and he answered it. After a few minutes, he hung up and told them that his parents just left to go out of town for about a couple of days. They also told him that the daughter of an old friend would be coming to stay with them for a few days. Jeff was surprised when his mom told him this and so were the others when he told them. While they were talking, Jeff walked into the side of the barn and fell on his rear end. Everybody just laughed when this happened and Tommy just helped him up. Jeff rubbed his nose as he got up and was glad that he didn't get a bloody nose. Amethyst and Zeiss ran over to the pond and decided to go swimming some. Jeff asked if Tommy and Paul wanted to stay for breakfast and they said sure. He went inside and grabbed some bagels for them to eat and orange juice to drink and came back outside. They just sat down on some lawn chairs and watched Amethyst and Zeiss play in the pond. Arnon and Alvarie were just lying down by the pond and enjoying the sight. They soon came out of the water and ran towards them. They just sat down by Tommy and Paul and they just started petting them some while they talked with Jeff.

A half hour passed when Tommy and Paul said that they had to leave and said goodbye to everybody. Jeff went back inside the house and Amethyst and Zeiss followed him inside. Arnon and Alvarie asked if he could keep an eye on the kids for a couple of hours while they went flying for a bit. Jeff said okay and they flew off. When they got inside, Amethyst and Zeiss went into the living room and lied down on the floor while Jeff went into the bathroom to take a shower. After he was done with the shower, he came back into the living room and noticed Amethyst and Zeiss weren't there. While he was looking around for them, he felt something jump on him from behind and he fell on the floor. He heard Amethyst and Zeiss laughing and he started to laugh some also. Soon enough, he had them both on the floor and was tickling them, and they were both laughing hard. They spent an hour playing when the phone started to ring. He picked it up and it was his mom. They just talked for a bit and she asked him if their friend's daughter got there yet. He said not yet and said goodbye and hung up. He soon went back to playing with the two dragons. While they were playing, someone started knocking on the door. Jeff told Amethyst and Zeiss to go up into his bedroom and remain quite. He grabbed his sunglasses and closed his bedroom door. He put his sunglasses on while he went to the front door. Whoever was at the door was still knocking some.

"Just a minute," Jeff said as he opened the door.

When he opened the door, he saw an 8'5" white and pink dragon standing there. She was wearing shorts with a light blue t-shirt and had a suitcase beside her. He immediately recognized her as being Rachael. He soon realized that she didn't recognize him yet and decided to keep up the act.

"Can I help you," Jeff said.

"Yes, my parents and I just bought the house next door and they sent me here ahead of time to stay with you," Rachael said.

"Oh, so you are our new neighbors, my parents told me that you would be coming early, they just didn't tell me that you would be a dragon, and a cute one at that," Jeff said as he gestured her to come inside and Rachael just laughed a bit.

"Thank you and my name is Rachael, what's yours," Rachael asked as she grabbed her suitcase and came inside.

"My name is Jeffrey, but my friends call me Jeff," Jeff said as he closed the door.

"That's funny, I had a friend who had the same name as you," Rachael said.

"That's a pretty common name," Jeff said and started to smile.

"I guess so, by the way, why are you wearing sunglasses inside the house," Rachael asked.

"I have an eye condition that I got when I was ten," Jeff said.

"Sorry to hear about that," Rachael said as she sat her suitcase down by the couch and sat down.

"It's nothing, my friend that was with me kind of got it a bit worse though," Jeff said.

"Really, I hope that he or she was okay," Rachael said.

"Oh, she's fine, we keep in touch still and go through it together," Jeff said as he smiled again.

"That's good to hear," Rachael said.

"I'm surprised that you haven't put two and two together yet," Jeff said while leaning against the banister.

"What do you mean," Rachael asked as she turned to look at him.

"Rachael, that friend that I mentioned was you," Jeff said as he took off his sunglasses.

When he opened his eyes, Rachael soon recognized him and just ran to him and hugged him and started laughing. He returned the hug and laughed some also.

"I can't believe that we're neighbors again, our parents sure know how to keep us in the dark," Rachael said as she sat back down.

"I know what you mean; I didn't even think that you were going to be my new neighbor. If you came here earlier, you would've seen Paul and Tommy," Jeff said.

"How are they doing? And how are Arnon and Alvarie," Rachael asked.

"They're doing fine, Kim has a small summer cold, and Arnon and Alvarie are doing fine also," Jeff said.

"That's good to hear, and I hope that Kim gets better," Rachael said.

"I also want you to meet a couple of new friends," Jeff said as he started to go upstairs.

"Really," Rachael said.

"Yes, now just stay here," Jeff said.

A few minutes later, Rachael heard Jeff coming downstairs and turned around. What she saw next was Jeff being folloed by two little dragons. Her eyes went wide when she saw them and just looked back at Jeff.

"Who are those two," Rachael asked as she stood up.

"Rachael, I'd like you to meet Amethyst and Zeiss, they are Arnon's and Alvarie's children," Jeff said.

"They had children," Rachael said.

"Yep, they were born two weeks ago," Jeff said.

"Who is that, Uncle Jeff," Zeiss asked as he and Amethyst just looked at her.

"This is Rachael, she is a very good friend of mine and your parents," Jeff said.

Amethyst walked towards Rachael and just looked at her.

"You're very pretty," Amethyst said.

"Thank you and you're very pretty also," she said and Amethyst started to blush.

Zeiss came out from behind Jeff and started to ask Rachael some questions. She answered them as best she could and turned back to Jeff.

"How come they call you Uncle Jeff," Rachael said smiling.

"That's a long story, ever since they were born I went out to their cave every day and watch them while Arnon and Alvarie went hunting and they started calling me Uncle Jeff," Jeff said and laughed a little bit.

Jeff went over and sat down on the couch next to Rachael and they just talked for the next hour about different things. Amethyst and Zeiss lied down by the couch and fell asleep while they were talking. While they were busy talking about different things, they heard something come from the back yard and got up to investigate. Jeff told Rachael to stay inside until he said it was okay. When he went outside to see who it was, he noticed that it was Arnon and Alvarie. Amethyst and Zeiss quickly ran outside smiling and started to climb all over them. Jeff came out smiling as well.

"So how was your flight," Jeff asked.

"It was good, how were the kids," Arnon said.

"They were very good, we played for a little bit and they rested the rest of the time," Jeff said.

"That's good," Alvarie said and noticed a shadow move in the doorway.

"Who is that inside the house?" Alvarie asked as Arnon looked over also.

"It's just an old friend that moved back," Jeff said as he walked back over to the house.

"Really," Arnon said a bit worried.

"It's okay to come out now," Jeff said as he got to the door.

Rachael came outside and when Arnon and Alvarie saw her, they both just looked a bit shocked.

"Nice to see the two of you again," Rachael said.

"We're glad you came back, Rachael, it hasn't been the same since you left," Arnon said as a tear came out of his eye.

Rachael just walked over to them and hugged each of them. They returned the hug and they just started to talk about what they did over the years. While they were talking, Jeff asked if Rachael wanted anything to eat for lunch and she said sure. He went inside and made a couple of sandwiches for himself and Rachael and brought out some fish for Amethyst and Zeiss. He asked Arnon and Alvarie if they wanted anything to eat and they said that they already are earlier. After they ate lunch, Jeff and Rachael went back inside the house while Arnon, Alvarie, and their kids just stayed in the back yard for a while to sun themselves. Jeff made sure that the curtains were closes in case someone else came over. Jeff asked Rachael if she wanted to watch some TV and she asked if she could hop in the shower real quick. He showed her where the bathroom was and he went back into the living room. Soon enough, Jeff heard someone at the door again and went to see who it was. He made sure to put his sunglasses on before he went to the front door. When he opened the door, he was surprised to see that it was Matt, Jake, Amber, Katie, Tina, and Tommy.

"What are you guys doing her," Jeff asked surprised.

"We came here to see if your new neighber was here yet," Matt said.

"Yeah, Tommy told us that she was going to be staying with you for a few days," Jake said.

"So are you going to let us in or not," Katie asked.

"Sure, come on in," Jeff said.

"So is she here yet," Amber asked.

"Yes she is, she got here a little over an hour ago," Jeff said.

"So where is she," Tina asked.

"She's in the shower, and you might be surprised who it is. By the way, where's Paul," Jeff asked.

"He went over to Kim's house to see if she is feeling better, now tell us who she is," Tommy asked.

"Well, my new neighbor is actually Rachael, she and her family decided to move back here," Jeff said smiling.

"No kidding, I guess the dragon crew is back together again," Matt said.

"You're right about that, and there are a couple more surprises when she comes out," Tommy said.

"What do you mean," Tina asked.

"You'll see in a few minutes, I just heard her turn the water off in the bathroom," Jeff said.

They all went over to the couch and sat down and started talking what they were going to do the rest of the day and the next day while Jeff's parents were gone. They decided to practice their karate when Rachael got down. All this time Jeff and Tommy were smiling and thinking what their friend's expressions would be when they saw Rachael and when Jeff took his sunglasses off. While they were talking, they heard the door to the bathroom open and Jeff just got up and walked upstairs. After a few minutes passed, he came back downstairs with Rachael. Everybody turned towards the stairs and their eyes just went wide. The girls just got up and started backing away some when they saw an 8'5" anthro dragon walking down the stairs behind Jeff.

"Hi everybody," Rachael said as she waved at them.

"Rachael is that you," Matt said as he got up.

"Yes it's still me," Rachael said.

"How did this happen," Tina asked.

"That's a pretty long story," Jeff said as he took his sunglasses off.

They all just gasped when they saw Jeff's eyes and wanted to know how this all happened. Tommy was just laughing some at their expressions and soon calmed down. Rachael and Jeff sat down on a couple of chairs and they told them what happened that summer seven years ago. Tommy helped tell the story also and it took them roughly an hour to do so. While they were telling them the story, Jeff and Rachael showed them what they could also do. Pretty soon fire, ice, and electricity were going around their bodies and soon stopped. They were all amazed at the story and by what Jeff and Rachael could do. They left out the part about the rest of the stones though. After they told the story, Jeff and Rachael took them to the back yard and showed them Arnon and Alvarie and their two children. Arnon and Alvarie said hi to them and they just said hi nervously back. All this time Amethyst and Zeiss were just running around them playing and they were just getting even more nervous. Matt and the others soon calmed down and went over to Arnon and Alvarie and just asked some questions. After they asked their questions, they heard another car pull up and saw Paul and Kim come around to the back yard. When they sw Rachael, they just ran up to her and each gave her a hug and welcomed her back. Paul also introduced Kim to Amethyst and Zeiss. After everyone said hi, the girls just went over to the patio and sat down and just started talking. Jeff, Matt, Paul, Jake, and Tommy decided to practice their karate some for the upcoming tournament. Jeff told Amethyst and Zeiss to just watch and try not to interfere because they were just practicing.

While they were practicing, Matt and the others had a hard time trying to get Jeff and he was just smiling. He was glad that he didn't have to wear his sunglasses around his friends any more and just decided to give them a hard time. Rachael and the girls were just laughing at the sight of Matt, Paul, Tommy, and Jake getting their butts kicked by Jeff. Tommy and Paul were the only ones that were able to get close enough to getting Jeff on the ground. The reason was because they knew how to read Jeff's moves better than the others and had an easier time blocking Jeff's moves. The down side was that Jeff was able to read all of their moves better than anyone else because he was part dragon and had sharper vision and senses. They were all third degree black belts at karate and taekwondo. Soon enough, Tommy had Jeff in a bit of a lock and was just smiling.

"What are you going to do now Jeff," Tommy said.

"Well, you did forget about my free hand and I think it's a perfect time to use one of my new little abilities," Jeff said and started to smile.

"What new ability," Tommy said and got a worried expression on his face as he looked down at Jeff's free hand.

"This one," Jeff said as a small ball of wind started to form in his hand.

The next thing Tommy knew, he was hovering over the pond and he looked back at Jeff. Everybody else was surprised at what Jeff was doing, even Rachael a little bit.

"You wouldn't dare," Tommy said.

"I would dare," Jeff said as he stopped his wind attack.

"Oh shoot!" Tommy yelled as he went into the water with a splash.

Everybody just broke out laughing when this happened; even Arnon and Alvarie and their kids were laughing some at the sight. Tommy just poked his head out of the water and spat some water out and started to swim over to the dock. Jeff and Paul were laughing as they went over to the dock and helped Tommy out of the pond. He just started laughing also as he was getting out.

"Me and my big mouth, luckily I have a spare change of clothes in my car," Tommy said as he rung some water out of his shirt.

"I guess it was a good thing to start doing that when we come over here to practice, besides didn't you say you wanted to make a splash in karate," Paul said smiling.

They all just broke out laughing again as they walked over to where the girls were sitting. Tommy said that he was going to go change real quick and left. Jeff told him to be carful not to get the carpet wet and Tommy said okay as he rounded the cornet of the house. Rachael decided to practice with Jeff some as Paul and the other guys sat down with the girls. Soon enough, Jeff was sent down right on his rear end and their friends just started clapping and cheering. After they calmed down, Tommy came back outside and asked what happened. Paul explained that Rachael actually knocked Jeff down only after three moves. Tommy was disappointed that he missed out on seeing Jeff get his butt kicked by Rachael. Soon enough, Rachael had her back to the pond and Jeff was facing her. Jeff threw a right punch at her and Rachael grabbed it and started to shift her weight some. Jeff's eyes went wide when this happened and Rachael was smiling the whole time. Pretty soon, he was flying over Rachael's head and right towards the pond.

"Not again!" Jeff yelled as he hit the water with an even bigger splash than Tommy.

Everybody just broke out laughing when this happened and started cheering for what Rachael did to Jeff. Arnon and Alvarie were laughing so hard this time that they started to cry some. Rachael just turned around and bowed a couple of times. Jeff just poked his head out of the water and was smiling.

"I guess you're still falling for me," Rachael said.

"I guess so, but I still have one more ability to try," Jeff said.

"What do you mean?" Rahael asked.

As soon as she asked this question, she was grabbed on both sides. She looked around and saw a red anthro dragon on one side and a dark blue anthro dragon on the other side. She was just surprised by this when all of a sudden; the red dragon grabbed her by the legs while the blue dragon grabbed both of her arms. After they did this, they walked over to the pond and heaved her into the water. Everybody else was just watching this and was wondering where the two dragons came from. Arnon, Alvarie and their kids were just watching the whole scene with a smile on their faces. When Rachael poked her head out of the water, she took a closer look at the two dragons that threw her in the pond and noticed that they were both wearing the same clothes as Jeff. All this time Jeff was laughing as the two dragons helped him out of the water and onto the dock. Rachael just swam over and Jeff helped her out. Tomy and the others ran over to them.

"How do you like my other ability," Jeff said.

"That was incredible Uncle Jeff," Amethyst said as she and Zeiss ran over to them.

"Thank you," Jeff said.

"What other ability, and who are these two?" Rachael said as she stood up on the dock.

"These two are actually clones that I made, that's my other ability," Jeff said smiling as he pointed to the two dragons beside him.

"What are you talking about," Tommy asked.

"What he means is that we're made out of elements," the red dragon said.

"Elements?" Tina said.

"Yes, I'm made out of his ice ability and red here is made out of his fire ability," the blue dragon said.

"Is that really possible," Katie said.

"You bet it is," a yellow anthro dragon said that came out of nowhere.

Everybody jumped when this one appeared and they just looked at each one of the dragons and then back at Jeff. They were all confused at this and wanted to know how he did this. The red, yellow, and blue dragons just smiled and started to disappear. The red dragon became a small ball of fire, the blue dragon became an ice mist, and the yellow dragon became electricity and went towards Jeff. Soon enough, Jeff dried himself off with fire going around him and Rachael did the same thing.

"How did you do that," Rachael asked.

"Arnon and Alvarie kind of taught me over the years, there's only one drawback," Jeff said.

"And what's that," Jake said.

"As long as these three are around, I can't create fire, ice, or electricity," Jeff said.

"Can you stille breathe fire and ice," Rachael asked.

"I've tried but nothing happens," Jeff said.

"Why don't we go sit down and you guys can explain it to us," Matt said.

They all went over to where Arnon and Alvarie were lying down and just sat down by them and starting asking questions. They explained how they taught Jeff how to use abilities to create clones but didn't get a chance to do his wind ability yet. Rachael asked if they could teach her how to do it and they said they would later. After a few more hours of practicing their karate, Matt and the others decided to head back home and said goodbye to Jeff and Rachael and the others. When they left, Jeff and Rachael said goodnight to Arnon, Alvarie, Amethyst, and Zeiss and went back inside the house. Rachael decided to go take another shower because of the dip she took in the pond. Jeff just started laughing again when she said this and got hit in the arm by Rachael as she headed upstairs. While Rachael was going upstairs, Jeff decided to make something for supper. He decided to make some chicken noodle casserole of supper and hoped that Rachael would like it. After he made it and put it in microwave, he cleaned up the kitchen and went into the living room and sat down and started watching some TV. As he was watching TV, he heard Rachael come back downstairs. He turned around and saw her wearing a pair of purple pajamas with blue dragons all over them. Jeff just smiled at that.

"Nice pajamas Rachael," Jeff said.

"Thanks Jeff, by the way, what are you cooking for supper," Rachael said as she sat down on the couch next to Jeff.

"Chicken noodle casserole, hope you don't mind," Jeff said.

"It smells delicious, I'm sure that I will like it. Can I ask what you did with the rest of the stones that Arnon and Alvarie gave you," Rachael said.

"I had them put the stones into dragon pendants like mine and I have them in a small safe up in my closet," Jeff said.

"What are you going to do with them?" Rachael asked.

"I don't know yet, I want to give them to the gang, but there are only six of them left and Alvarie doesn't remember where she his the two that she took," Jef said.

"I guess that you'll think of something," Rachael said.

"I guess so," Jeff said.

After the microwave was done they both sat down at the table to eat supper and enjoyed talking about different things that happened to them over the years. Jeff even said that he saw her on TV a couple of times at different karate tournaments and was surprised that her parents would even let her do it. She explained that her parents felt sorry for her and let her compete in a tournament every once in a while. She was happy to be able to practice karate still. After they finished eating supper, they both cleaned up and just sat down and watched some more TV. While they were watching TV, they heard something clawing at the back doors and Jeff went to see what it was. He found out that it was Amethyst and Zeiss and asked what they were doing there. They just said that they wanted to stay with him and Rachael the night and told him that their parents said it was oday with them because they had to leave for a couple of days. Jeff just sighed a little as they gave him the sad look and let them inside. He smiled some also as Rachael was just laughing at the sight of two little dragons giving Jeff the puppy dog look. After watching TV for a couple more hours, they decided to head to bed and said goodnight to each other. Amethyst wanted to sleep with Rachael and she said that she didn't mind and Zeiss slept in Jeff's room with Jeff. Before Rachael went into her room, she kissed Jeff on the cheek and Jeff just started to blush some Amethyst and Zeiss laughed some when this happened.

While Jeff watched Rachael go into her bedroom, he thought he saw a small trace of a dark aura around her. He blinked his eyes some and looked at her again and didn't see it. He just shrugged and thought that it was nothing and went into his bedroom. Zeiss went over to Jeff's bed and lied down at the end of the bed on the floor. Jeff went over to his window and looked outside at the clump of trees in the backyard. For some reason he was getting a small warning inside his head and was wondering why his dragon sense was going off. He just ignored it and went to bed. Little did he know that the next day was going to be a difficult one to say the least. Meanwhile, in the small forest behind the house, five lone dragon figures were just standing there watching the house. The five dragons were the very same ones that attacked Arnon seven years ago. They knew that the stones were in there somewhere along with Rachael. They also knew that Jeff was part dragon, but didn't know what power he had yet. What they didn't know was that Zeiss and Amethyst was in there also. They had been in the woods ever since Arnon and Alvarie left earlier that evening. They just decided to wait until the next day to strike and take Rachael and the stones.
